I will pwn you newbs

Who knows. I don't buy armor for any cars to save money and the chance it may slow it down by .001 seconds. Obviously bullet proof tires are a must though.

Ballistic Jello

Somewhere Rockstar Support posted that it does NOT negatively affect the vehicle in any way. If you Google "gtaforums armor" and variations of that, you will find the link in an older thread on here.

Armour does not affect performance. it just reduces the deformation your car receives from collisions

BPs dont affect performance either.

the types of wheels you choose affects handling

also body parts do not affect performance. just for looks

the futo is one of the slowest sports cars. the elegy and jester will wreck that car in a race (assuming all drivers are good)

This is incorrect, purely a placebo, or similar effect. Makes no difference to me as well as many, many other players. The only wheel type that does affect handling and traction are the off-road tyres.

No it does not. Neither does the type of wheel make a difference on pavement. I've used off-road wheels and tires for lap times on pavement courses and it made no difference in lap time. I've used lowrider wheels and tires and it made no difference in lap times on pavement. I have not tested off-road wheels and tires on off-road courses to see if it makes a difference, but on pavement changing the types of wheels makes no difference in handling or affects lap time in any way.

Appearance modifications like spoilers, canards, diffusers, exhausts, make no difference in lap times. Carbon pieces make no difference in lap times.
