Need help with emblem creation: Biker Patch

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows a relatively simple method of creating a Sons of Anarchy style patch for GTAO. I've seen a few really amazing ones but never had the chance to speak to the owners. I know we were able to use pictures a while ago but I believe I read somewhere that that had been patched out in 1.11 or 1.12.

I ask because I'm from Belfast and wanted to use SAMBEL as a basis for my crew. Any help is much appreciated, chaps!

EDIT: This is the sort of thing I'm looking to achieve...

Join a crew with similar logo, open their logo, edit and save as your own

I try this but can only submit it to the crew I took it from. Even after leaving it

Copy the code part of the logo you are interested in, then paste it on yours

didn't they fix this?

or just the pasting of SVG code from outside of the editor or something?

I used a really long duping process to copy a emblem made in the emblem creator.

each shape on the emblem has dimensions and coordinates. that's where the fun begins...

@OP if I could help with your emblem, I wouldn't. there's thousands of SOA MC's on GTAO. wearing that patch is like having a giant neon sign that says "kill me."

I will tell you that in the "expressions" section of these forums you might be able to find someone to make exactly what you're looking for, but without a .SVG method you won't be able you use it.

I'm getting better at lettering, so if you want to come up with an original idea, I'll try to help you out with the patch. (time permitting)

As far as I'm aware the code duping / SVG method has been patched. Joining a crew, modifying an emblem and saving it will just save it to the crews gallery.

I think you're just going to have do it the old fashioned way, OP.

There's a browser extension that allows you to put a translucent window over the top of your page. So, basically, when you're in the Emblem Creator, you have another window on top of that one with the logo you want but said window is slightly transparent. Then it's just a matter of a color-by-numbers of sorts because you just need to move the shapes around to match what is in the overlaying window.
