Drug Dealing In Gta 5 Online

I think there should be...Especially if you can find out if someone in your session is a drug dealer that you could actually rob him:)

only if the player find where he does his drugs...and if someone wants to buy you put on passive mode or you deal drugs with a crew and then you will be protected:)

I can imagine this as special Free Roam missions:

 

- Deliver the package to the customer without dying.

- Escort a delivery van to it's destination while fighting off a mobile gang attack.

 

All the while when an enemy player can ambush you at any time.

 

Given selling them to players, perhaps implement a special trade window. Seller sets the amount of drugs and sets the money requirement. Buyer has the option to either accept or decline. During the deal, if you break out of the trade or even after the trade is done, both players are in a 15 second passive mode.

There should be side missions like in Vice City where you had to use the Mr Whoopee in order to sell the drugs on the beach.

The drug market in GTAO is not profitable... Muggers sent to rob you, other players rob you...who will you sell the drugs to? Why would someone buy the drugs when they could just kill you for it? You won't get the drugs fronted or on consignment, R* will charge you cash upfront for drugs that you will die for at every deal... Finally who's gonna play as the strung out meth or coke fiend? Everyone is going to want to be a dealer!

NPC sellers would be cool, have them as contacts in your phone but first you have to discover them in secret spots around the map

Now when you have drugs on you and you get killed theyre up for grabs unless you respawn and get them first. Could even create an exchange. Depending on the lobby or over all prices could fluctuate. If everyone is selling weed, the prices drop for that. Just an idea.

Why stop at drug dealing? It could be anything, drugs, arms etc.

Make it a crew based business, make crews more useful than glorified friends clubs

 

Start at drugs - work your way up the trade chain to arms dealing (which could use air drops ala single player)

 

NPC buyers and sellers, your job is to deliver the product when you obtain enough (which could be from randomly appearing NPC sellers) to a buyer. When performing a delivery you will not be marked on the map, however you will have to do it in a public lobby. Other players would be notified and would then be on the lookout for your convoy (or clever crews might try running more stealthy operations and not run together at all when delivering)

 

Strategy comes in what vehicles you use, and how much product you move at once. Using a Semi would allow you to move lots of product for a larger profit, however its vulnerable (but also allows you to have more crew members running interference in other vehicles) using a van/s would allow faster movement, of less product, or more vans at the cost of less protection.

 

Storage for your product and/or vehicles would need to be obtained - a communal crew garage, maybe eventually hangars for planes/choppers/semi trucks/trailers.

 

Money earned would go into the crew and can be distributed from there - members doing the work will want to be paid, but vehicles may need to be replaced, repaired or upgraded - giving the crew leader a tricky management task with funds gained.

 

This would need to be number limited though - say 8 maximum people per crew doing a run per server at any time, to stop large crews running a 16 man operation in a public game for pure profit.

Drug dealing is low-class...Trevor basically turns his over to Ron and Franklin is getting the hell away from it completely...so why would anyone else want to sell drugs??

 

We've got heists coming...some day...possibly soon...I think...right?
