richard1997jones
Anyone watch classic car rescue on channel 5. It's two guys who buy cars and do them up to sell. It's similar to wheeler dealers.
sivispacem
I'm not sure whether this is better suited to the TV section. Unfortunately much of what is done on these shows is bodging IMO and I find it often rather dumbed down. I also have yet to find one where I can stand the presenter. I quite liked the C4 one with the bloke who plays Gene Hunt when he was rebuilding the Escort Mexico rally car but that was too focused on history really. *MURDOC* 1 AMD Ryzen 5900X (4.7GHz All-Core PBO2) | Gigabye X570S Pro | 32GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 EK-Quantum Reflection D5 | XSPC D5 PWM | TechN CPU Blocks | HardwareLabs GTS & GTX 360 Radiators Corsair AX750 | Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL | ASUS RTX 4080 TUF @2970MHz | Sabrant Rocket Plus 1TB Sabrant Rocket 2TB | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB | 2x ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Q Acoustics 2010i | Sabaj A4

Though @sivispacem wheelerdealers is good, though if you don't like the host I don't blambe you haha, wheeler dealers (program) don't do a bodged job rly do they? epoxi
Yeah Wheeler Dealers always seem to do a proper job. In the early days they had a lower budget and would not restore the car completely (only what was practical and reasonable), but whatever they covered they always did right. sivispacem
Edd China annoys the sh*t out of me. Plus the job they did of that RX7 a few weeks ago was utterly sinful: AMD Ryzen 5900X (4.7GHz All-Core PBO2) | Gigabye X570S Pro | 32GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 EK-Quantum Reflection D5 | XSPC D5 PWM | TechN CPU Blocks | HardwareLabs GTS & GTX 360 Radiators Corsair AX750 | Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL | ASUS RTX 4080 TUF @2970MHz | Sabrant Rocket Plus 1TB Sabrant Rocket 2TB | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB | 2x ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Q Acoustics 2010i | Sabaj A4

epoxi
Oh wow, it looks like something from Pimp My Ride. I haven't seen the latest series of Wheeler Dealers so my opinions may be dated. I always thought Edd China was a pretty good presenter. Edited May 6, 2014 by epoxi
sivispacem
I must admit I don't actually mind the bodykit on the RX-7; well, if it were on a proper, stripped-out track racer, anyway (it does need a pop-up light delete though). But the tie-dyed BBS LM replicas, snakeskin mirrors and stupid wrap are...well, hideous. epoxi
I agree completely, I quite like the bumper-mounted headlights but the paint/decals combo went out of fashion once everyone had completed Need for Speed Underground. It surprises me because they have always criticised this sort of modification in previous episodes, maybe it's good for the viewing figures. Gutslab
Oh wow, it looks like something from Pimp My Ride. suddenly remembering the 6 hour blocks of Pimp My Ride on speed channel in the mid 00s...the horror. sivispacem
