Just sign up and install Origin before May 8th Dead Space is free right now. DeafMetal
Chris Fromage
Wasn't Dead Space already for free a month ago? Anyways, thanks for the news. I am waiting for some good games. The only reason I had installed Origin was for the free games and demos
GTA3Rockstar
Yea it was, probably when the first really started their program.
SoftTouch
Why is Origin doing this? We're gamers, too. We appreciate you making Origin your gaming home ... and besides, who doesn't like free stuff? Uhh EA ? lol this wont last long, I tell you. GunWrath
Cosmic Gypsy
Downloading Origin now for this reason alone.
Chase177
I usually don't hate on services or products, but EA and Origin is terrible. Let me list a few problems I've had with their games. Texture load error. I've actually had this happen on two games now, BFBC2 and Medal of Honor. Requiring a disc for games I downloaded digitally. Sims 3 didn't run properly, took a few hours to fix that. Registered a product on Steam, but still had to use a origin product key to play online. BF4 frezzes quite often. Also their support is by far the worst I've ever seen and tried to deal with. I think this is a great program they are starting, I just hope y'all have a better experience with Origin than I had. RyanBurnsRed
They should put Crysis 3 up for free. Or even better, Crysis. I've got Crysis 2 on Steam, but it's the worst game of the series.
FullMetal
Crysis would be a great deal indeed. The game is 'fun' but overall not worth paying any cents for. I always thought of the Crysis franchise just 'long playable demos/benchmarks for their new awesomely pretty engines with a multiplayer component'. GTA3Rockstar
http://gtaforums.com/topic/696655-dead-space-free-download/ I saw that before but this is about them starting their On the House program. More than Dead Space coming free.

Crysis 3 wasn't any better in my opinion. Sure, it had nice graphics and epic cut scenes, but the story was just... meh...

Unlike Crysis 2 which was as linear as COD, you could still explore in between the levels in Crysis 3. The original Crysis is still the best in the series. The suit's powers are separated so you have more control over it. Also the island is huge and you have modding support on PC. Great game
FranklinDeRoosevelt
I remember playing Crysis 2, although it was only a multipayer demo, still, it sucked. It's just eye candy and repetitve gameplay. Haven't played SP so I can't judge that.
Rewas
When I first saw topic's title, I thought I was dreaming. This is actually quite a surprise from EA, despite being money "thieves". I think I'll pass on Dead Space though. I don't want to have any nightmares before exams. Edited May 6, 2014 by Rewas514

Haven't played SP so I can't judge that. The MP is like COD, but the modes are a little different. Plus you have people using cloak and armor mode and all that. It can be fun, but it gets boring after awhile. Anyway I'm hoping EA puts Crysis up for free. Or even Battlefield 2. Chris Fromage
I wonder what game is next. I hope it will be something good, but I got a feeling that EA is just using death space so more people would download Origins. Once they reached their goal, they will probably give some old games or not successful games away...

Creed Bratton
Is it even playable without the DLC? I know that people complain that Call of Duty becomes pretty much unplayable if you don't have all the map packs.
Cosmic Gypsy
I haven't bought any of the DLC on PS3 and it was playable last time i checked, my friend bought BF4 a while back though so we stopped playing BF3, even though i prefer BF3.

RyanBurnsRed
Funny. First Dead Space now BF3. They offered both of those games in the Humble Bundle, now they are offering them again for free.
Mcquiz
So when I "get" the game do I have to download it or will it just stay on my account and I can download it whenever I get a computer that's powerful enough to run the game?

Sign in, click download and that's all. Don't even have to finish downloading it, you can cancel it if you want, as long as you see the game box on your games list then it'll be there forever.
