Is there anyone out there that plays anything other than Rooftop Rumbl

I only play RR if I desperately need some cash, don't know how people can play it 20 or 30 times in a row.

 

I play everything, deathmatches, races, captures, parachuting. I don't really play missions anymroe because they are all basically the same.

 

>Go to place.

>Kill bad guys.

>Pick something up (bag/document/coke)

>Take to mission giver.

 

I know there are a couple with extra things (hacking etc) but I just got sick of playing the same couple of missions over and over. At least in a dm or a race you don't really know what's going to happen. (especially with the Russian Roulatte that is user created content)

OP,Besides rooftop rumble,i do lots of other stuff like hang out with crew & more,but i will more be inclined to spawn kill you rather than befriend you because you are an a@#hole

 

To be fair i'm not going to deny that, I completely agree.

i have every thing i want in gta online, just waiting to gte to level 120 then ill get the mini gun which i dont really need cos i have the rpg......

i play all kinds of missions, by their fun factor not payout, theres a mission from martin which is really long and hard alone forgot what its called, i like bust out, atv steal, hack and dash, most of them really, i dont like 1s where u have to capture a big slow vehicle but still

That's just the thing though, people who are over level 120 still only seem to want to do RR, and there's nothing else worthwhile to unlock (I think).

 

I've been using the "Join Contact Mission" option from the phone a lot recently, cuz some of the ones I really wanna play (like Base Invaders) aren't on my Host Jobs menu anymore and I have no other way to get them other than hoping I get tossed into them randomly. And I end up with RR probably 80% of the time. If they'd just nerf the damn payout, and bump it up on some of the other, more difficult ones, it might encourage people to actually play something else for a change.

 

As long as the host has it set to hard, I'll usually stick around and take the easy 18k, and I'll even help out with killing the pros... unless someone decides to open fire immediately, before I can even get into cover. In that case: go get 'em, hero, if you're in that big a hurry. And I never bother taking the documents to Madrazo anymore. There's always someone else on the team who's super-eager to do that, so why spoil it for 'em? I'll stay here by the garage and shoot peds for the rest of the mission...

Base Invaders, in my opinion is one of the best missions on GTA Online, yet I cant seem to get others to join it. Probably because it pays the same as RR but take a while longer.

I do sometimes but I hate doing a half hour long mission for 2500-6000 dollars.

RR is one of the most efficient ways to earn RP and $. If somebody is interested in making money and RP fast, why would they play anything else?

I played Grab Your Ballas a bit ago, random choice to play something aside from RR. I thought it made $9K. It was, again, kinda a PITA and the payout was $5.6K (I guess $9K is the first time around.) It's like that with other missions, too. I don't think RR should be nerfed, I think other missions should be brought up to that standard in terms of payout. Getting paid $5 and a half for Grab Your Ballas was a reminder why I don't play a lot of the missions. So not worth the effort.

I'll give you another reason besides the obvious why people only play RR: nobody seems to be able to complete any other contact mission (unless it's a mindlessly-simple Gerald or Simeon one).

 

I've had good luck with Hack and Dash the last 2-3 times I've played it, but that's about it. Attempts at both of the Docks to Stock ended horrifically, and there's nothing quite like failing Base Invaders cuz some tool managed to destroy Ron's plane when you were already halfway back to the airfield with the cargobob...

I only did rooftop rumble to rank up faster. Now I'm trying out other missions for a change.
