Assisted aim and Traditional GTA no longer lock on?

I'd like to start off by saying I do know how to change aim settings and I am 100% sure that I am not in a free aim session. Now I am not usually a violent player but when someone in free roam locks onto me on foot while I'm in my car traversing the map, I fight back (as should anyone else who is prepared). Of course, I am at a disadvantage because the opponent can lock onto me, while I can't. As a temporary solution, I have switched aim settings from Assisted aim to free aim, until someone comes up with a solution.

I suppose I forgot to add if anyone else has experienced this issue before.

I have no problems with free aim sessions, but I like to play with my friends, and like I said in an assisted aim and traditional Gta session, I am always at a disadvantage.

You asked how to fix your problem, I gave you a solution. Sorry it is not the solution you wanted, but one cannot argue that it is not a viable solution. If your problem is that you have a disadvantage when people are able to lock onto you and you cannot do the same then there are only two solutions:

 

1. Repair the lock on system (something only Rockstar can do).

2. Circumvent the problem by not allowing anyone to lock on (which is what I suggested).

If a friend of yours was shooting you and you couldn't lock on to him,check your Friend Attack Priority from your Inventory,you could have set it low.

If thats not the case,then idk,never heard of something like that before.Join Free Aim if you cant fix it.

There is no solutions.. AA is a freakin' plague of GTA.

 

 

Just enjoy as much FA play time as you can. Personally, i have to change aim constantly to race, makes sense right?

 

 

Worst part about FA is its the least played aim mode. Because.. locking and dropping players just because they came into your Aim Bots range is what GTA is all about.

This is actually a glitch that I have encountered, and it works both ways.

 

If you are freeaim for example, accept a mission invite to an AA mission, then get kicked... you spawn back into the freeaim server with AA still on.

 

I'd bet money you were invited to a freeaim mission then kicked, leaving you freeaim in a regular server.

 

I hope they fix this one, because obviously you end up with people using AA in a freeaim server, which sucks.

when i finally discover how to join freeaim in V, i jumped into freeaim in gtao and not only people wouldnt fight back but most them would leave the session.

 

3 weeks ago i joined freeaim and that place was a ghost town with a max of 3-4 players per session.

 

i when back to AA server, always full of action!

The game put everyone on easy mode and didn't even tell them they can switch to hard mode.

Deathmatches is the reason why I switch to free aim

 

There is no such thing as Deathmatches in Free Aim. There are only empty lobbies. Finding a nice lobby takes hours.

This isn't Call of Dooty or Butthurtfield. leave AA alone or go play a game that doesn't have it. I rock at shooters on my PC but the limitations of a XB or PS3 controllers make me avoid them on consoles. Give me keyboard and mouse any day.

Is free aim truely free aim? Or does it have any aim assist like first person shooters?

Free aim is truely free aim, no assist.

And I can't recognize the picture of free aim being a "ghost town". Sure, there's less players than auto aim, but that's merely because it's default. I usually only swap session 2-3 times and I've got a server with a nice amount of people - like only a few spaces left. It's not that hard. The only disadvantage to free aim is, as having been pointed out, that you're not gonna find anyone playing deathmatch or free aim. I suggest having some friends to join you, either some you met in game or maybe some from real life. There's also the option of switching to auto aim when you know you'll want to race for a bit. It's not too much of an inconvience. Deathmatch is, if you hate auto aim like me, not possible. There's simply no one to join you, so either you have to play auto aim or have friends joining you.

That's great if you want a laggy horrid conversion for an underpowered X-box. I prefer the real deal My PC is a smoking fast gaming rig.

lol purchase an adder, entity, infernus, sandking or jester, if you mod the cover for the back of jester and use the non-window back for the sandking you have 5 bulletproof back vehicles, now just abuse this cheap trick of shooting the ap pistol at the on-foot players that grief you with bullets, also remember not to go too close to them or they might try to sticky bomb you.

I love free aim but love full Team Deathmatch lobbies more so I play assisted aim.
