Are chrome adders really that big of a problem?

I actually like the pink chrome... That being said, I have an Adder, though it's black and never use it in free roam (I only use it for the occasion I race) but I do have a chrome car with whitewalls. Only difference is it's a rusty Emporor and their wires, not dollar wheels. Have fun kerploding it, I do!

Forgive me for not playing enough GTA Online or even playing any GTA Online, seeing as I've been working on source projects and playing single player. However, I've been hearing a lot about chrome adders around the forums and how big of a problem they are. Are they really that big of a problem or is it exaggerated? Who started the chrome adder craze? Why is it such a big deal?

They aren't a problem at all. There are just some children in the game that think everybody should share their tastes and get violent when someone doesn't.

Not asking everyone to share my taste. I am just asking someone not to look like an idiot. If I saw someone walking down the street with: their shirt on backwards, pants inside out, socks on their hands, and two different shoes on, well I would tell them the same thing. Unlike Real Life, if someone doesn't stop I am free to blow them to kingdom come.

I guess it's because many people overuse to the point where it ruins it for the players and thus making it an outcast of the paint jobs (more of popularity, not usage).

Saw an idiot in a chrome comet today spawn killing a level 7, that chrome comet ended up getting impounded. My car was in impound.. went to get my car, blew up theirs. Worth the 5k

I really don't think this is a problem. If you like chrome, you like chrome. If you like dollar sign rims, you like them. The whole point of the intricate car system they put in GTA was to do whatever you want. And if people like Chradders, they do. Really petty to get your jimmies rustled on a car style.

I don't know if we can still do that, though even when we could it was a lot more subtle than this. That picture though as been photoshop.

They may be ugly, but there's no arguing (lack of) taste.

 

Besides, be thankful that there are people making things ugly. I know I am. Makes me appreciate the good looking stuff more.

It'd be boring if everything was on the same level. Just like never losing anything. A victory becomes hollow when you don't know the bitter taste of defeat.

 

What I don't get is why all those people who think they're incredibly awesome only drive high-end sports/super cars. Don't get me wrong, I see the appeal in them. But every now and then you just gotta get in a muscle car and drive like a man! If you're really that great, you can still beat others. Besides, a lot of drivers crash into every obstacle in their path. It's usually not that hard to keep up with them, unless they've had a lot of practice. Low rank players who save up for an expensive car without having the experience needed to drive it...
