Are chrome adders really that big of a problem?

First you need to realize the GTA forums is the minority. They might have a problem with chrome adders, but the rest of the gaming community don't really give a flying f*ck.. All it is, is a color, the most expensive color that's is easily acquired.

@freedomna, you're an idiot, it's not community service, it's called griefing someone because you think anyone with a different taste in colours than yours must be killed

Congratulations for making my signature; I am guessing I might have blown up your Chradder in the past?
Anyways how is me killing them for their wretched eye sore of a car any different for me killing them just for walking past me in a free mode? I believe the former is actually more justified because there is a reason, yet we call the former griefing and the other "normal game play"?
When you respond, also post how you define griefing. There are so many thoughts on what constitutes griefing from one person to the next, I would like to agree on a common definition.

Primary chrome on anything other than a car that resembles a merc... An assassin must be hired.

 

Coloured chrome is fine IMO as long as it isn't some stupid bright neon sh*t with white walls and dollar rims. Speaking of white walls and dollar rims very few classic cars can pull off white wall tyres and look good in this game, never mind dollar sign rims.

There isn't a problem at all, it's a virtual car and a color. Player-wise, good and bad people drive it and you'll find the same kinds of people driving something completely different. It doesn't matter.

 

This forum just doesn't shut up about chrome. I never see chrome anything in game, only when people complain about it here.

Forgive me for not playing enough GTA Online or even playing any GTA Online, seeing as I've been working on source projects and playing single player. However, I've been hearing a lot about chrome adders around the forums and how big of a problem they are. Are they really that big of a problem or is it exaggerated? Who started the chrome adder craze? Why is it such a big deal?

It isn't so much that the cars are the problem. It's the little, rat-faced squeakers that drive them

 

Not to mention guys slaming their mic against their dick and telling the lobby they are doing just exactly that...

The problem is that i tend to keep the chat setting set to "everyone" when i'm not using my mic. That way i can hear if anyone is planning to sneak up on me

 

For some reason i always end up in lobbies with freaks. Bad luck i guess.

Was thinking the same thing, i have never had anything at all worthy of being close to that, nothing..

 

 

To be honest, i have heard some funny things over the mic. The consequences of leaving it open to everyone. Just never any kind of groin lovin' lol

Chrome Adder = Sticky bomb you when you go out of the LSC. They also sticky bomb you at any other time.

I just think the whole chrome thing looks particularly tacky in GTAO. It looks like someone put a chrome sticker on the car. The other issue is that those who are in chrome Adders have usually taken it to another level of tacky with dollar sign rims.

 

It's symptomatic of the larger problem: for some reason, players seem to have this fascination with making their cars as loud and garish and grossly neon as possible. Rarely do I ever see people who have made their cars sleek or sophisticated. It's usually some degree of neon vomit or chrome.

I don't own an Adder, since I hate the car, so think again

Glad I can make your day. Now, I do not agree with the definition. To explain why, allow me let me give you an example.

 

Suppose I am in a Battlefield 3 match with my M98B. I am counter-sniping and this one bloke on the opfor climbs up to this perch over looking my team-mates. I kill him, he whines, but he comes back to the same spot so I kill him again. This repeats, every time he gets more and more irritated. Now I know I am causing him irritation and I am doing nothing to stop it (thus it is now deliberate), but at the same time I am doing no wrong. I am merely following the course of normal gameplay. Am I still griefing?
