yester day no one got in my helicopter :(

so me and my friend where playing roof top rumble where I would call for heli while he killed the guys in the garage,e and gets the documents. when we played with others no on would get in the heli and they would be driving with the dcuments when the heli is 20% faster in completing the mission I worked this out as an average time compared to when we used a vehicle.

 

why don't people use the Heli?

I find it easier and quicker driving. I run in, get the documents and speed off. No f*cking around waiting for other people to get in my car or waiting for the helicopter to arrive and I never get into anyone else's car because they're always sh*t drivers.

yes but yester day was all about speed getting the double cash it is also fun to parachute out of the heli and take risks when landing

I call the heli straight away and it always lands in time to take the documents and while I wait I shoot the guys in the garage aswell.

The helicopter is about the same length of time to complete on a speed run as driving

having tested both methods in my opinion.

 

If I'm doing this mission solo then I'll use the car because it would add to the time to complete

the mission but if a friend has brought a helicopter along and ready to go I'll jump in.

 

The helicopter method you have to usually deal with the first of the Granger's unless

the person has managed to land the helicopter right beside the car park entrance.

If you play with randoms dont waste your money calling helis because you cant be sure that the document grabber will enter the heli unless you communicate.

While this is no doubt funny, this is kinda my point... People don't play rooftop to have fun lol, we're doing it for the cash... And usually a heli is quicker/less prone to crashes

I always use my motor bike and drive like hell to the parking garage and then drive under the map for the simple fact no one can kill me, no one will run me over or blow me up, and its way way faster then a helicopter

Well that's odd, because very time I've called a chopper and people have used their cars instead, the chopper always gets there first...

 

and as for the grangers.. lucky to see them if you get the chopper arriving early..

 

I think people forget you can walk and order a chopper at the same time..

I got in a Buzzard with a guy. He had the document.

 

Flew like a kid with no arms on the controller and crashed into a house near Madrazo's with the other 2 players ages away.

 

Waste of time, I just use my zippy Habanero.

 

Also, if you're a driving chode who doesn't know the shortcuts, just don't drive.

I've raced on the ground against a chopper. Some tool who stands there and does nothing til the chopper arrives (not worth having this knob in my mission), and you have to run back to the chopper. I took off as soon as one grabbed the document and even hitting a few bullsh*t NPC drivers, I was only just down the road from Madrazos before they got the chopper to the spot.

player 1 immediatly calls merryweather, the other player kills/grabs the documents.

Most of the time, the heli is entered exactly, when the documnet graber comes out of the garage. --> perfect timing, theres no faster way.

 

ignore the granger and lift of.

 

maybe you COULD beat the heli time with a car, but you have to race perfectly (no crashes, no granger attacks etc)

I played RR about 100 times this past 48h and it's more than 50% go the long way, even when I'm passenger and set a Waypoint at the bottom of the curve to tell them to turn left.

 

Thank god that's over. Back to surviving bounties
