The Rock* appreciation thread!

This double cash and rp weekend really deserves some appreciation, so I Thought I would make this thread and hopefully get it noticed by Rockstar.

 

This weekend has been a very generous move, that no matter how you see it, has meant a cut in the companys profit. Even though the majority wouldn't have bought cashcards no matter what, a lot of those who would, now don't have to. No matter how you put it: This gesture means less profit for rockstar.

 

Thats why, I would like to be the first to say:

Jesus... I was hoping to make a thread that showed appreciation, but all it seems to do is to show how spoiled and ungratefull the fanbase really is.

I think players are a little frustrated and bored. The double 2 day marathon, was like a little taste of what they can give you but choose not too.

And OP they were gonna do it either way, most games nowadays that strongly support Online, have double EXP events to keep the community alive, they did the same in RDR and Max Payne 3.. the cash was just added to it because this is the only game in the series that highly uses it, especially Online.

Either way I'll agree with this appreciation I guess, just to please you though.

 

Besides, they'll gain more profit when we see the DLC, those that missed out on the event this weekend will be spending money on cash cards right away, or those that just missed the amount needed.

I appreciate RockStar Games even with all their trolly decisions on GTAV/O. The majority of my fond gaming memories were on Rockstar games.. The Smuggler's Run series, the Midnight Club series, GTA, Red Dead are all just great games. If it weren't for Bethesda they would be the only gaming company i like. I mean they do make solid games that are just really fun to play, simple as that.

Online has been screwed since day one. Multiple problems.

 

And now, myself and load of others have freezeing problems and couldn't take full advantage (if any) of this double rp and $.

Due to rockstar screwing something up with Capture creator and not being able to get online now.

 

So a big fat NO. I understand why you want to say something but NO.

This crappy little double bubble thing does not, cannot and will not make up for all the issues with GTAO
