the sandking is so slow while driving in dirt

I did a created race with a couple people (the one at the horse track with jumps) and I used my fully upgraded sandking and lost against 2 standard dirtbikes (forgotten what they're called). My sandking went like 20 MPH during the whole race! I was shocked how slow it was, why does an off-road vehicle go so slow off road?

because super cars go faster because they're super.

Is the Sandking super? Nope.

I went against dirtbikes not supercars

The Sanchez is one of the fastest off road vehicles. I had one, and fully upgraded I won all the time in races against Biftas, Sandkings, and the like. Only reason I got rid of it was that I couldn't at the time get a solid color on it, so it didn't match the black paint theme of my garage. I can't believe how many people underestimate the Sanchez, it really is one of the best in it's class. It's only fault in races is that it's easier for another player to ram you off and kill you (but then, this was always a good incentive to make sure you stayed out front ;) )

I'll only use a Sanchez in an offload race if catchup and slipstream is off.

The Sanchez will beat an Adder under the right conditions. What I don't know is the difference between the regular Sanchez on the website and the Sanchez 2... the latter can't be modified. Does it run as fast?

Sansking is slow, but use its size as an advantage, Ram those mother****s!

The majority of vehicles lose speed on the transition to dirt. And once there, you don't have the traction to maintain a similar speed to regular roads.

Sanchez 2 can be modified now.

Indeed. Sanchez is fast, nimble, great for jumps off road, and if the track goes onto the blacktop you hold forward on the left analog stick to gain even more speed, same as all other bikes. Particularly in the race OP mentions, the Sanchez will take the jumps a lot faster than most other vehicles in the race. When set at 5 or 6 laps I would start lapping the back of the pack by the time the race ended.

Actually since 1.11 they can both be customized and are the same in performance, I have a suped up Sanchez 2 on my second character and it's awesome.

I think the rebel, SK, mesa, and duneloader are underpowered. They need an of road buff.

Duneloader also needs 50/50 4WD

I agree, most all of the off road vehicles could use some TLC. And while they are at it, where's the monster truck? I really can't believe that the game has been out for more than 6 months and we have not gotten one yet.

Any vehicle loses speed and traction when compared to said vehicle on the street, to the dirt. What the Sandking lacks in speed, it makes up for with size, and durability. People on a Sanchez are able to fall off of it if they get in a dicey situation. Can you fall out of a Sandking? Not in a race. Plus, I was playing an off road race last night, and there was a portion where you had to drive around a mountainous shoreline. I was on a Sanchez, and couldn't make it through the water due to me being on a bike. The other player in a Sandking was able to plow straight through it. Be more strategic when you race a Sandking. Be careful, and you can even run the people over on the Sanchez, if that's your thing. Just don't sell out a Sandking in the right conditions. Races aren't always about speed.
