This frenzy of grinding with double the cash reward is setting us up for the greatest sh*tstorm of anxious murdering and frenetic trolling the likes of which we have not seen since the most neon days of money glitching. With the rise of wealth comes the amassing of arsenals, and the storm is coming.

 

The rage will begin shortly after the end of the promotion and will last for days.

Oddly enough, every public lobby I went into today was civil. Most likely it was due to everybody farming jobs, and /or buying crap from what they had already farmed. I suspect tomorrow will be when the s@#t storm hits.

Nope during those days ANYONE could get a tank, was way more tanks & freeroam had more chaos

 

different experiences i guess

 

back when i first got on (couple months after release, still during the billionaire time tho) nearly everyone i met was all hyped up on blowing their money on ammo, cars mods, glitching pegasus vehicles (oddly enough, it was usually the cargobob from my experience) etc. all these amateur CoD babies didn't start rolling up in tanks until they became f*ckin broke...again, just my experience

This reminds me of what goes on in the cash card conspiracy thread. "They give double money in order for people to get money for High Life, then delay the release of the update until everybody has used it all up on stickies and insurance. High Life then comes out, everything is expensive, everybody is broke. Cash Cards!" LOL

 

To be honest though, it was good of Rockstar to do the double cash thing, and I for one am thankful.

Funny reading about the billionaire days. I've been playing the game since the second it was released and never saw any difference in behaviour. I didn't even know people had billions in the past. Only difference was I wasn't on the forum. You guys are only seeing the picture as it was amoung you and your friends and friends of friends. With this game that's about as far as lobby's reach so the game experience is very different between different groups. Most of my lobbies have people cruising in classic slow cars these days.

Trust me. The event was to re-gain customer's attention back to the game. Look at everyone playing the game like starving dogs seeing mountains of fresh meat.

 

About the griefers. I guess the days of honking and throwing Salute as a sign of being friendly has completely gone from existence. Think all of those high pitch squeakers with hairless balls making mayhem in Free Mode.

I was also suprised at how many people I played with that were high level and being paid double for their first time completing several that we rolled through.
