Matchmaking: Open/Closed

Do people not know of this when hosting missions? Seriously, it bothers me to do quick job and having to get kicked because of the host either wanting a friends/crew only lobby, solo play, etc.

 

Anyone else having these problems?

I have on Closed all the time, just press start then online, options and choose 'Closed'

I know how to do that. I just have a problem with the people that don't know that this exists.

I didn't know you could do it anyway, which supposedly makes me ignorant lol. I'm not alone in this either, not something that's pointed out afaik.

Even if you set it to closed, there will be some random players joining your lobby.

That's only when you don't switch fast enough or if you have auto invite enabled (plus the previous missions you done with randoms, if with though) Edited May 4, 2014 by AllDay808HI

I used to have my matchmaking set to 'closed' through the options. People would still show up on my list, didn't matter if I barely loaded up online or had done previous jobs. I left it on 'open' since it doesn't seem to work for me.
