The ability to Restore/Refurbish rusted cars.

If theres one thing that needs to be added to this game, it's the ability to restore the old rusted cars. Theres quite a few cars that only spawn in beater form and don't even seem to have a standard non-beater form, Some of these cars are:

pcN6AhS.jpg GTA: 4 Voodoo

3EmzVJC.jpg GTA: 5 Voodoo

Now compare the two, why would Rockstar remove the clean one and add in this rusted piece of junk that doesn't even have a proper sounding engine it makes no sense, to anyone who hasn't driven the car in 5 it's engine always stalls and sounds as if the cylinders are out of place. This was the nicest low-rider in 4 since the took out the Blade and Savanah (both from GTA: San Andreas) It has okay customization and looks great with thge lowrider wheels and custom tires so why is there no option to completely remove the rust and make it 'brand new' again and although this is off subject if there was a convertible varient in 4 or 5 it would most likely be regarded as the most stylish drive by car in the game. There are other examples like the Rat-Loader, It spawns as a junker, has a whole lot of customization options even a chrome V8 that can be installed in place of the regular engine (exclusive to the Rat-Loader only, at least to my knowledge) but this all comes at a price, in exchange for the awesome customization this vehicle has it cannot have the dents and scratches removed which makes the custmozation only bump it's visual rating from 4/10 to 5/10.

If a feature like this was added it is guaranteed that we would see much more modified low-riders in online since we all got love for the Voodoo, don't we ?, and the ironic thing is it would be so easy to implement all Rockstar would have to do is add a new paint colour or customization tab known as Remove Dents/Rust, Return to stock (note this would also fix the engine stuttering for the Voodoo) or Full Restore. It's cost could range from $25,000 to $50,000, cost being around $25,000 for cars like the Injection and Rebel and £50,000 for classics like the Voodoo and Rat-Loader.

Also The Rebel plays a large part in this due to the fact that the Rusted varient has all the customisation and the clean one has basically none so something like this would make the Rebel twice as good and for the people who like rarity Rockstar could make the clean Rebel the common one and make the rusted one the rare one therefore making the good one rare and lusted after.

Please Rockstar listen and consider this in the next update I know you guys could do it and it wouldn't be hard either it would be as simple as when you added the new colors of tire smoke in the Business Update if added this would most likely be a fan favorite and make some people people start playing again when they find out they can fully customize and restore what is basically a 1964 Chevrolet Impala, especially those who like Eazy E ;).

Please comment, spread and follow this forum to get it around and maybe get it pinned then it will really get some support.

If you want to see this added soon email this to Rockstar and voice your opinion they're always telling us to email them, well they won't know what we want if we don't tell them will they ;).

No because I'm not complaining I'm suggesting and my grammer and english is correct since most people who post bitching complaints on this site take very little care in wording it correctly.

Needs to be brought back, There is no logical reason as to why this vehicle should have removed plus if they added the Lozspeed varient it would practically replace the Futo :).

I literally sent this idea to them about a week ago, but I added the ability to do this to all rusted versions of cars like the tornado.

All the wrecks in the Sandy Shores Boneyard and around generally are cars that appeared in IV but not in V.

OT: Yes, I would like to buy a 6 car garage in Sandy Shores, and start collecting and restoring Rusty cars. Make them my projects

It would apply to all Rusted cars of course but I only used the Voodoo, Rat-Loader and Rebel as examples since a lot of people want them in prestine condition the most.

Plus Starting a forum may generate some buzz and may even result in it getting a lot of support therefore getting Rockstars attention, a single email on it's own has no chance without at least a forum or petition backing it up.

that's all people want is an OPTION to change it from rusty to clean. But I agree what Insert said above, just make it expensive.

in a perfect world I'd have a clean voodoo and rat-loader.

Also the ability to make it's engine sound like it did in GTA: 4 it sound terrible in 5 thats why I said it could be called Full Restore.

Yes, make it an expensive option at LSC or something.

But also the price would vary since in real life it would cost more to restore and an old Chevy Impala than it would to restore a Toyota Hilux.

This couldn't be an option. The way the game views the cars is.. the rusty and the clean Rebel are two completely different cars. You see them as the same, because almost everything about them is identical, but the game doesn't view it this way. Hence, this is why the Rebel has all different mods when it's the clean vs. rusty models. So you couldn't just click something in LS Customs that makes it a whole different car.

Now, simply adding in a clean version of the Voodoo makes much more sense.

yea it does kinda sound like a chainsaw left in the rain for a week lol. Can you make the email up top click-able. I really like this idea.

Actually yes, you could. It's as simple as a model swap upon using the option; in the case of the Rebel you would just lose your specific rusty rebel modifications if they really didn't want them on the clean one.

This is probably one of the best idea threads I've seen in a while. A restore option for rusty cars, cost maybe $50k at LSC.

But you could, it would be classed as an option that would make it identical in paint job looks but still be classed by the game as the rusted version. Pretty much anything can be done in coding nowadays so it would just look as clean as the clean version but still be regarded as something different by the game.

To anyone thinking this wouldn't work, all it would be classed as is a new paint job or like adding a spoiler or something, it would make it different from the way it spawned it to start with to put it simple no car would spawn with this 'modification'.

Yes. It's gameplay is fun, but all the good stuff is premium. All three pony cars, the Mustang, Challenger and Camaro are not free.

It's because it was a compact. But yeah, it would make more sense if it was AWD.

fox body mustangs (the vehicle the Uranus is based on) are RWD.
