Best Off-roader in Online?

My first garage thanks to my obsession with speed and handling is mostly filled with super/sports cars, and while I'd like to replace a few, I really feel once the second garage comes through I might regret some of my choices in replacements, so until the High Life Update is released I want to test some other vehicle classes (in story mode using save editor), and right now I'm looking for suggestions of best off-roaders in the game?? Please leave quad bike out of your suggestion (as I'm looking for a car or truck rather than bike) and also dune buggy as although I really like the dune buggy the lack of option to mod the vehicle really puts me off that vehicle. So which off-roader do you guys reckon in terms of looks, speed and handling (both on and off road) is the best off-roader in gta online??? All suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

For customizing I like the rusty rebel... For performance and ability I like the sand king, for just fun sake I enjoy the Kalahari.

People will say the dubsta 2, the karin beejay, and the patriot.

The mercenaries jeep looks sick, but they hosed the drive train and made the power split something like 10% front drive and 90 % rear drive... kinda ugly and quite an insult to jeeps. I know I'm a jeep guy, I have a mesa in my garage but chose other trucks if we go off-road.

Yea the only off-roader truck I've ever owned was the mesa canis (merc one) as it was fun to actually fun to hunt it off those merc, and also it looks pretty awesome when modded, but you are right, I really find its performance off-roader disappointing, that's why ended up selling it later on.

I own quite a few, my favorites are the Sandking, Bodhi, Rebel, and the BF Dune Buggy. The Merryweather Mesa tips alot but can climb mountains quite well though, made it up Chiliad pretty easily.

i like my rebel, and like dude said, its got wicked customization options. mine is maxed out,but will still get stomped by the kalahari, and sanchez(!!!!???) flat out. its still my favorite due to looking like a solid axle toyota hilux. Sandking swb or xl are awesome for fording creeks, rivers, climbing rocks, excellent approach angle, with stock bumper tho. i dislike the buggies personally. oh the rancher xl is pretty sweet, like an old k5 blazer. if your on xbox sometime perhaps we could go wheeling! good luck with your decision, off road is just as much fun as on !

Karin sultan+off road tires+stock suspension.... best off roading I've done in the game, and I've done quite a bit. The thing will just keep climbing and climbing... Not to mention its pretty damn fast both on and off road.

You can't deny Bifta. Don't take too much pride. Just use this free car. It's quick, agile, good off-roader, and funky in style.

Haters gonna hate but I mostly roll with my Purple-Pink Bifta on RR. Dodge all enemy cars with tricky turnings.

unless you're actually just role-playing off-roading, any super will do.

that or a bike, bikes go everywhere.

You can't beat the rusty Rebel, and its light rack doesn't fall off going over a bump like it's clean little brother

XL is 4-door while SWB is only 2-door. They have identical performance.

Mod a Sultan RS for offroad... You wont be dissapointed

Bifta and Rebels are a close second and third place IMO

If you want to go rock crawling and traversing rivers and waterfalls etc go the sandking. Nothing even comes close to the sandking when it comes to proper offroading.

I've got the LWB so that when people crash into the ocean or get stuck I can give up to 3 people a lift to a road.

Sanchez, with street tires if you can get it. I climbs like a mountain goat and can get into areas others are just too big for. Sandking is great for rock climbing or crossing rivers and handles remarkably well in the air.

BoJack Cognac

Sanchez is the fastest.

Nemesis is faster off road.

Sandking is easily the best for offroading. For racing that's another story.

The Clean Rebel light rack does not fall off :/

The Bifta for sure. It may be free but it kicks ass, The only problem with the Bifta is it's weight which makes it really easy to shove aside... if you can catch it.

Entity is probably the best car for "off roading" wether you want a proper off roader is a different matter.

Well I'll probably own one RS in future as I really want a 4-door sports car and it seems to be the best one in-game from everyone's opinion.

I already own that and yes I wanted a off-roader class vehicle, not the best off-roader in-game.
