Confirmed spring updates coming in May

Finally new property! I care more about that than the heists, thank f*ck they're finally doing this. New cars look pretty good too, I'm liking the look of the Pegassi more. Any car lovers know what it's based on? I thought the Pegassi cars were Lambo's but not sure.

I think the general belief is a mix of the Veneno and the Aventador, but we're yet to see the rear.

I agree. They should add muscle cars IMO.

 

 

Muscle cars probably don't generate as much revenue. The Gauntlet costs what, £32,000? I guarantee that the new Pegassi will cost at least ten times that, if not more. As such it's more likely to sell cash cards than a $32,000 muscle car that you could earn the money for inside of two RR or Coveted runs.

 

 

Exactly! I'm not going to waste my time and in game money on a vehicle that is only good for looks. Like the Roosevelt? Pshh, I wouldn't even waste my time for the Stinger or Monroe. So either they come out with muscle/classic, sedans, coupes, off road, trucks, ect. with unrealistic performance stats, or just release those kinds of vehicles into free roam where we can steal them and take them to LSC instead of having to grind for cash just to buy a cash with poor performance.

 

I wouldn't mind if they released a free holiday car or released a few of these types of vehicles as the low profile vehicle out of the bunch (for example the Huntley). I'd just hate to see them release a full update's worth of vehicles I'd never use.

If you don't see at least some similarities between the two, you should get your eyes checked.

 

Definitely a case of pot calling the kettle black here. You're thinking just because they both have huge front black intakes that they look a like. This is like the evo/gtr/charger discussion where people say they look alike because of their front intakes.

 

 

I didn't say they look alike, I said they have some similarities. For instance, the painted parts on either side of the front, the air intakes on the rear sides. And yes, the front intake does have some similarities other than it being big and black, like how it's raised in the middle and the dividers being in similar places.

 

Yeah you're looking WAAAYYYYY into it because you know you're wrong. None of the lines match up what so ever. Painted parts on the front? Nothing that I see on the front that is painted matches at all. The side intakes look nothing alike. Did you know many super cars have side intakes now? Just because they both have them does not make them similar. Also the front intake does not match. You're following the white line, if you look better it does not raise up. Yes the white/chrome line does raise up but another part of the intake design goes down below it making it essentially a straight line across aside from the two raised parts where the intake lines are crossing each other. The only "similarities" of these cars is missing a front bumper.

Only problem is they likely wouldn't preform anywhere near sports cars, so you're constantly at a disadvantage during free roam and such. I would like to see some of the brand new muscle cars they are coming out with in the next couple of years added in the game, they're getting much more "sportier" and could at lest compete with the low lever sports cars and up. Kind of like the Coquette and Bullet. The Banshee and Buffalo are pretty disappointing, adding the brand new mustang wouldn't be too terrible. I'd be cool if tuners became their own class and more added in the future, seeing as most have endless customization options.

 

But as I said, I'd love to see them add different vehicles from different classes... If they are released as free roam vehicles you can steal.

has there been ANY evidence there will actually be NEW apartments/properties to buy? the only thing i saw about that was where the announcement said there would be "new options" but that nothing about new places to buy, new locations to buy properties in... just "new options" which could easily just mean options for the current available apartments.

 

i REALLY doubt there will be any new property before houses come out and that probably wont be til well after heists launch, and heists will probably begin very small.

I will have to dig, but Brian B. answered this question directly stating; "there will be new apartments including interiors, but I don't want to spoil the surprise so that's all I'll say"

The SP version of this topic has a picture of a new apartment in the main post. So there are new properties to buy.

Assuming they take all their stuff away to. Remember when they took the glitched money, they left you with everything you had bought. So all they are really doing is making a guy level 1, with every unlock and everything he had anyway. Not really much of a punishment.

There's still some dispute over the Zentorno. I think now that's its a known supercar the thought is its a mix between the Zenvo ST1 and Lamborghini Aventador or Gallardo.

I disagree. There are still big games coming to PS3 and a lot of my friends who have money to blow on rubbish are staying with ps3 till price comes down and more games released.

 

Rockstar would expect drop offs in gamers, it's common sense. The key is to offer people something so they come back after finishing the next big hit.
