I've been joining random jobs and most are RR which doesn't bother me but what does bother me is i am getting kicked out of every 3rd or 4th game it seems. If you don't want people to join your game, set it to private /rant.

It happens with all sorts of missions for any number of reasons. Not exactly a big deal.

Are you a high rank? I kick most people over 75 in favour of the lower ranks as I feel they need it more.

Because they're to stupid to make it a closed mission and just invite the people they want to play with.

Yes. This happens to me too. More after this double rp+money.

My character is level 116. Usually those morons are even level 100+ with his one or two friends chit chatting in the lobby and kick me.

It's irritating to see high levels who can't operate GTA Online simple feature to prevent what they don't want. It's just a few button press to set Matchmaking to OFF if they're too lazy to set it from Pause menu.

So they can start shooting from across the street before anybody gets into cover, then throw grenades into the garage and destroy the documents.

Hmm, here's probably why.

They don't close the lobby in time because people like you keep joining before they are quick enough to close it.

They are hosting it for friends/crew members only, not for randoms.

They want to do it alone.

They simply don't want you in the lobby??

If you have such a problem, why no just start up your own or have a friend do it for you??

You do know there's a way to set matchmaking off from the pause menu and not in the lobby.... That alone makes your points invalid

And what makes your post invalid is the idea that not everyone know's that. Not everyone is a good host. I still have to tell people how to close matchmaking or extend time without pressing Y/Triangle. Just because me and you know it, doesn't mean the people hosting the mission know it.

You know how the selection for Matchmaking <Closed> is after an initial confirmation of mission settings?

They couldn't get to that setting before you were forced into the room.

Before I figured out how to set it to <closed> in the Pause menu, Options, I had to race past the first confirmation screen to set the room to <Closed> I would at least say, "Hey, man. What's up" before removing the Randy\

You're joining random jobs, expect random results.

So last couple games i felt sorry for all those guys joining and i kicked them out because i wanted to invitr low ranked crew members..

so whats happening a lvl 999 starts raining grenades inside the parking lot with the final story that documents get destroyed...

oh and by the way , since last update match making is standard set to open... and indeed when i get to the point of putting match making on closed there are already 2 randoms joining.....

no need to cry about it... either host it yourself.. or just wait for another RR invite...

Its only bad when they don't have the decency or awareness to do it right away; I've sat in lobbies where a couple of dudes are chatting it up for quite a few minutes and than I will get kicked. I can be patient but when your gaming, time slows down when your sitting in a lobby for over a minute, it's just a bit arrogant to keep someone around for longer than a few seconds at the most if you don't intend on playing with them.

If you're heart is set on joining someone random with open matchmaking it can get kind of monotonous encountering lobby after lobby that seems to only do this; quick kicks are no problem.

In the ideal world...

Its not a huge deal though, I expect to be kicked from everything I join at this point..

They are subliminally telling you stop grinding that mission and play the game, I can't tell you how fun it is to play the missions no one plays, I get with my crew/friends and we always have a blast doing the crappy missions.

I'm only doing it so i can hit lvl 300. I'm at 297 and was at 294 earlier. It's a quick way to get rp. The money is nice too but i think i have plenty of that for now.

I have matchmaking set to closed by default, and out of all my runs today twice I still got people joining. I assume its a bug somewhere.

What Rockstar should do is automatically change the matchmaking default from open to closed for anyone who kicks someone joining from a quick job 3 times. That way people will only join those who don't mind having a random playing.

I just got kicked from 2 in a row. I'm gonna start noting the hosts name and sending them a f*ck you message every time i get kicked for no reason. sh*t is annoying.

I don't normally join random jobs so never get kicked unless the game goes kaput. Although when it comes to RR grinding I do that on my own as it's faster than letting others join. Made just over $1m and gone up 3 levels today whilst grinding RR today. :)

Good idea. I can usually close a mission within a second or so so it's apparent people don't know the option exists. My idea would be to just remove the kick option at the beginning of the mission but have it available after it starts (to kick any f*ckmops who decide to try and mess with other players). Or make it a vote kick. Or something. As a level 143, I'm just hosting now. Rarely even bother to join.
