During the time is seen on the intnernet soo many screenshots of GTA 3/alpha/beta stages...i was wondering..why rockstar cannot release these versions (without 911 things)..or at least show us some more things from the alpha/beta..then yesterday i made a petition to rockstar games! Let's show them that we are all curious about the beta/alpha stages! Sign the petition today! https://www.change.org/en-CA/petitions/rockstar-games-bring-gta-3-alpha-beta-to-people I know..it's not a good one..or not good as cand it be...but let's try to do this. I want a copy of the beta as much as you do. But I'm being realistic, liklyhood is they don't have it any more. Even if so it's on Renderware, which Rockstar can't legally publish anything on, other than their previous titles anymore. I'll sign it, but I just don't think that petitioning for something that probably doesn't exist anymore will get is anywhere. It's like petitioning Mazda to produce more '91 model 323s. I don't see why they would still have those files hanging around for no reason, although we'll never know as petitions towards companies like Rockstar never work. according to an article they released during GTA 3's 10th anniversary, they still have cut content lying around, it's just that they don't think it's worth the effort to get it working since they don't think it's very good: Darkel was just a crazy bum who gave you some crazy missions. They were removed a few months before the game was done and long before 9/11 because they just weren’t as good as the rest of the game, and tonally they were a little odd. He started with 5 missions and they were slowly all cut. When only one or 2 were left, they were all removed as the character just didn’t work alongside the other characters. None of these missions involved blowing up buses of school children although that is a funny rumor!
