Hello friends!! :)

When i play GTA Vice City on windows XP i can apply the Audio settings of "Creative labs eax [tm]"(Options> Audio Setup> Audio Hardware) But when i do it in windows 7 it says "Hardware not available".

How can old version of windows support it while the new version cannot??

Help me friends what is this problem and how to solve it??

If you're using a Creative sound card with hardware EAX support, since Vista you'll need to use the ALchemy 'compatibility layer' to enable EAX effects.

You can download it from Creative website, it's not included in the main audio driver.

Every time You install new game, You need to run ALchemy and transmute the application. Then You can choose EAX in VC audio options.

Ok now i've downloaded that driver but it's not installing in windows 7 does it need sound card to be applied?? because i don't have any internal sound card installed. I just have "Creative SBS A35" speakers for pc.

And i can apply creative sound (EAX) on Windows XP OS.
