Can't give cash

Has anyone else had the problem of giving cash not working? This happened to me before but it must have fixed & now it's happened again, can anybody shed some light on this? I even got the option to give -1 haha wtf

How are you trying to give the cash?

 

I assume you're using the select/back menu Give Cash option.

 

If there's more than one player in the lobby you need to set the amount each player

will get Player A 50%, Player B 0% etc and then select the option to share the

cash at the bottom.

Yes, via the interaction menu. Tried that but for some reason it's not working, also I'm pretty sure shops are giving out double cash

I'm not sure then unless its a restriction because of the double payouts from

store robberies. I will have a try later on myself with a friend after work

and report back.

Rockstar disabled the 'Give Cash' feature due to hackers giving other players money innocently. This was done approximately 5 months ago.

Yes they disabled Give Cash five months ago but I think OP is talking about Share cash from last

job (Store Robberies, Car Sale for Simeon).

 

I tried that again over the weekend with a friend so that option is still working in the game.
