Saintdestroyer Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) ...and I miss doing IT Past GTAS, I have never really cared for collecting the items, especially them pigeons in GTA IV. But because I love the locations in this game, the detail and the random nature of things, it made driving to these points exciting and it was fun searching around. I found so many new things in the game when looking for these items that I would of completely missed had they not been there or I had chosen to not complete them, such as finding the nudist camp for example. I 100% this game a while ago, and I am still wishing i had more to collect. I can only hope the SP DLC is enough to bring back the excitement of exploration, because so far I have not fallen in love with GTA Online, which is surprising as I was stoked for it. Do you guys feel the same way for the collectables, or did you distain them? I should note that I am only talking about the spaceship parts and letter scraps, the underwater portions of this game unfortunately bored me to frustration. Fuzzknuckles Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 The only one I haven't enjoyed was the stunt jumps, as the interactive map doesn't track them. I'm missing one, I don't want to have to do them all again to find that last one, and that's the only thing stopping me from getting 100%. Signatures are dumb anyway. Harwood Butch3r Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) The only game I've bothered to collect every collectible in is LA Noire. I can't motivate myself long enough otherwise. However I did collect all the submarine parts and it was a collosal waste of time with a sh*t reward. In saying that the flying rats in GTA IV are the worst collectible ever conceived. I love GTA IV to death, but this is one of my black marks against it. GTA V's collectibles are a bit better, but I can't be bothered with them enough to collect the whole lot. I wish they hid them better and highlighted/accented them differently because the flashing hides what the object is. I'd like to be able to look at the detail of the models.
