They sorta copied that one TV show from HBO Boardwalk Empire but thats in Atlantic City I thinking its gonna be in the 60s or 70s

I read this a few weeks back and nearly cried with joy. I'm now really hoping we get Mafia 3 set in New Orleans, Mafia 2 is probably one of my top 3 favourite games (despite them cutting half the content out of the game), mostly because of the way they captured the 50s atmosphere, so I have faith they'll capture the 1920s New Orleans atmosphere just fine. HYPE.

 

Funny choice though having 3 protagonists and the African-American one being called Franklin... Now just does that remind me of?

I think those names are placeholders anyways. And it might be that only one of them is the Protagonist. .

Just because they describe three characters doesn't mean they'll all be playable. They did the same thing with Mafia 2. They talked about Vito, Joe and Henry.

This time I hope that they let you play after completing the story. I really enjoyed Mafia II, but the fact that you couldn't free roam after the story ruined the game for me.

I doubt they'll make that mistake again. In fact, it would genuinely shock me if they did. A lot of games today are free roaming games. These days it would take a grade A moron to make a free roaming game that locks you out of the free roaming environment once you're done with the main story.

mafia 2 dlc packs had free roaming atfer ur done wit the game but the lame thing is they mafe thr dlc packs cheap as hell no cut scenes expect 4 ending

if this game takes place during the 20s/early 30s, then the war must be WW1. but if the setting around the 60s then no doubt it's 'Nam War. i'm hoping Mafia 3 back to the prohibition era. they can have the 60s for Mafia 4

They will change it to Clinton in the final version. Seriously if someone is really thinking about making another Mafia game I really hope they will make it right this time. On other hand it would be hard to make it worse than Mafia II, but I am not excited either way. I have been with previous part and it didn't end well.
