vietboi2
Casting call character details [FRANKLIN]Born in Louisiana, Mixed race - African American/Caucasian, Early 20s, 6', Bouncer's build - broad, not cut. An orphan in the racially segregated South who rises to criminal prominence after returning home to Louisiana from war. Having been an outsider to both white and black society, Franklin is fiercely loyal to those he considers "family." He is both street-smart and strong. Disciplined and imposing, confident yet guarded, Franklin knows how to get a job done at any cost... ACTOR MUST HAVE A LOUISIANA ACCENT [TONY]Born in Louisiana, Italian, Early 30s, Thin, Immaculately dressed and groomed. A genius with numbers and statistics who runs sports betting operations in Louisiana. Tony is not your typical gangster. Meticulous and organized, Tony is more concerned about numbers and profit than people. On the surface, Tony appears quiet and socially awkward, but in reality he is more than capable of inflicting violence on anyone who disrupts his bottom line. Tony doesn't fear people; he simply does not understand or like them. ACTOR MUST HAVE ITALIAN ACCENT / SHOULD BE LIGHT WITH SOUTHERN CHARACTER [Mickey]Born in Louisiana, Italian, Late Teens/Early 20s, Average build. A young street hustler who likes to run his mouth, Mickey likes to talk big on the streets, but when push comes to shove, he can't back it up. Mickey has a bad habit of taking credit for bigger jobs and making himself seem higher up in the criminal ladder than he really is. When confronted with this, he reverts back to the scared teenager he really is. ACTOR MUST HAVE ITALIAN ACCENT / SHOULD BE LIGHT WITH SOUTHERN CHARACTER Looks like the GTA V 3 Char thingy might go to Mafia 3 aswell Edited May 1, 2014 by vietboi2 Prometheus

gtamann123
I think they have been posted before. Either way it's kind of interesting that they would go to New Orleans for Mafia 3.

They sorta copied that one TV show from HBO Boardwalk Empire but thats in Atlantic City I thinking its gonna be in the 60s or 70s
Apex.
I read this a few weeks back and nearly cried with joy. I'm now really hoping we get Mafia 3 set in New Orleans, Mafia 2 is probably one of my top 3 favourite games (despite them cutting half the content out of the game), mostly because of the way they captured the 50s atmosphere, so I have faith they'll capture the 1920s New Orleans atmosphere just fine. HYPE. Â Funny choice though having 3 protagonists and the African-American one being called Franklin... Now just does that remind me of? gtamann123
I think those names are placeholders anyways. And it might be that only one of them is the Protagonist. .
Shane_Dbns
Franklin = Franklin Tony = Michael Mickey = Trevor? Â Out of all the names for a black character, they chose Franklin. I bet his friend's name is Lamar... universetwisters

RyanBurnsRed
These look like the old names of the protags in GTA V. Well I want to see how this turns out. Hopefully not like Mafia 2.

Input
As long as it goes into the late 60's, I wanna drive muscle cars and do some mob hits man.
FranklinDeRoosevelt
The story needs to revolve around the mafia now, like "Proper" mafia gangs and stuff.
Adam Jensen
Just because they describe three characters doesn't mean they'll all be playable. They did the same thing with Mafia 2. They talked about Vito, Joe and Henry.

VIPΣR
This time I hope that they let you play after completing the story. I really enjoyed Mafia II, but the fact that you couldn't free roam after the story ruined the game for me.

In fact, it would genuinely shock me if they did. A lot of games today are free roaming games. These days it would take a grade A moron to make a free roaming game that locks you out of the free roaming environment once you're done with the main story. Snoochie_Boochies
I wonder what era this game will take place in. It says that this Franklin guy comes back "from war", but what war? world war 1, world war 2, vietnam?

if this game takes place during the 20s/early 30s, then the war must be WW1. but if the setting around the 60s then no doubt it's 'Nam War. i'm hoping Mafia 3 back to the prohibition era. they can have the 60s for Mafia

Tycek
They will change it to Clinton in the final version. Seriously if someone is really thinking about making another Mafia game I really hope they will make it right this time. On other hand it would be hard to make it worse than Mafia II, but I am not excited either way. I have been with previous part and it didn't end well. universetwisters
