Tanks on top of buildings

Using a cargobob to carry a tank to the top of the Maze Bank building isn't a glitch, so I'm good with it.... so long as they are good with sitting in a session by themselves like dumbasses when everyone leaves.

Someone with a bounty was doing this the other night. He Cargobobbed a tank onto the roof of a hangar at the airport and had a grand ol' time blowing up anyone who came within range. I thought it was pretty clever.

 

That was me! haha

 

Well if it was you, I was the blip on the hangar across the runway, and thanks for not shooting me in the ass when I took off!

I started this topic to basically find out what everyone thought about my idea of doing this. I've been doing it for months. I was the first person to ever try it IMO.

I put a tank on roof tops regularly, especially if I have a bounty placed on me.

To those saying its cheap or not creative, you're wrong, like someone said on here already, it's effectively using the tools given to us to accomplish surviving the bounty! Simple as. Plus it's pretty damn funny seeing people have no clue where the shot came from, investigate further and get smoked again, and again haha

Use a Jet and attack from directly above them.

It's easy for pilots like me...for most people it's easier said then done

 

Another option if they are on top of the Maze Bank building for example, try and get below them and just throw sticky bombs up, either they will get out of the tank so you can kill them, or they will drive off the building.

 

The one guy I saw before was on top of the hospital by the most popular LS Customs. Wasn't able to throw sticky bombs that high unfortunately. Went for the Jet instead.

 

You could try throwing an airstrike flare up there, he'll be f*cked then. If it's too high, go even higher than he is and throw them down.Or throw it under, it will still impact up above.

Patch will fix the tanks, making them not so overpowered.

 

With the amount of complaints they're getting, they must be noticing something.

 

They removed tanks from paying ins and bs like 4 patches ago, this totally unbalanced the dicky attitude twankers have and has caused the biggest outrage I've seen over any game change. If they were gonna change it, to favor the player instead of the twanker, they would have many patches ago, you better learn to kick a tanks ass our get the f*ck out of its way 'cause they're here to stay unfortunately.

I do this all the time!

 

I set bounties on people until they put a bounty on me in return.

 

Then when everyone comes looking to kill me they get a very cruel surprise! hahaha

Been having a great time doing this.

 

LAzers never got us once. The smartest guy used a buzzard and hovered just out my our cannons range and shot missles at us. The counter for that was jumping out and sniping him but sometimes it depends on how much chaos is going on because you might not see him fast enough.

 

We had 5 of us up on maze bank in tanks with 9k bounties on each of us. 35k isnt a bad reward for someone to try and blow us all up.

Easiest way to kill "stationary" tanks is to use an airstrike, they ain't moving so easy kill but costs money and rank.

 

Best way to kill tanks is to use a Jet, takes some skill but anyone at any rank with no money can use it.
