Tanks on top of buildings

Has anyone else been seeing this lately?

 

I keep seeing people dropping tanks on top of buildings in high-traffic areas.

 

Makes them a lot harder to kill.

Any time I steal a tank from another player I cargobob it to a roof and just leave it there

If you aren't skilled enough to do this just go into a private lobby and just practice flying till you are able to do this. Use the guns instead of the rockets.

Another option if they are on top of the Maze Bank building for example, try and get below them and just throw sticky bombs up, either they will get out of the tank so you can kill them, or they will drive off the building.

Any time I steal a tank from another player I cargobob it to a roof and just leave it there

 

as long as the roof can't be driven off of then I approve.

Someone with a bounty was doing this the other night. He Cargobobbed a tank onto the roof of a hangar at the airport and had a grand ol' time blowing up anyone who came within range. I thought it was pretty clever.

Baloney. It's not like he was glitching into a wall. The object is to refrain from being killed for 45 minutes - or whatever it is. He's using tools and weapons provided in the game to accomplish that task. I give him credit for being creative.

Using a cargobob to lift a tank onto a high building isn't creative..

Recently I've seen 2 guys, one flying the cargobob and the other meaning the tank while been airlifted about and shooting at PV's driving about, including mine :-(

As opposed to just driving around until you get shot?

 

Watching the whole thing from across the runway, with people constantly running out there in the wide open to get blasted and blasted again, I'd say he was the most creative guy on the server.

ive been doing this for months. certain rooftops are perfect for surprise tank blasts. its funny when you have a bounty and players are begging for you to let them kill you.

 

the jet thing only works with 10% of the people playing the game. the rest get shot down or crash trying.

 

go to merryweather dock, steal cargobob, call in tank, pick up tank, go to your favorite rooftop and have fun. even better if you have a friend off radar in another tank circling the base of the building.

Patch will fix the tanks, making them not so overpowered.

 

With the amount of complaints they're getting, they must be noticing something.

You just go really high in the sky with a Buzzard and a co-pilot then you wait until you are over the Tank to blow them up slowly.

 

If you prefer using the kamikaze way then you can go take a Lazer and crash yourself into them while trying to shoot rockets at them because that's what all the jet pilots I saw did.
