Will the Heists be make or break for you?

What I mean is when it finally does drop...if it ends up sucking so hard. Will you give up on online? Or will you wait to see what else might come out for it.

I for one will be disappointed and leave it, find another multi-player on pc while I wait for the gta v single player stuff.

Nah they are a nice bonus at this point. I'm more excited for high life. I'm more curious how they will work than anything. Certain amount of people required? That would blow. Cool down period? Only pop up like the car list from Simeon? PV's? Payouts, etc.

Very very close to make or break. What's going to ruin them is their payouts. They probably won't be too spectacular. And if they are high payouts, then the frequency we can do the heists at will be low. Remember, they still want you buying Shark Cards

**** but if the High Life lives up to it's hype. That alone will be enough to keep me playing. Hell, been here since day one of online so. Why leave now....

I'm torn about heists.

On the one hand, it'll be nice to have some extra activities to do (more content is always a plus)

On the other, I kind of want them to be pretty terrible, just to watch this forum drown in the tears of 12 year old's who have hyped themselves up to believes that heists are "ZOMG TEh BEST THing SinCE WEEDD" and will cry when they don't pay a ridiculously high amount of money.

I personally suspect heists will be more like a glorified store robbery, just with a higher payout, say $15000 - $20000, and will be a limited time thing similar to High Priority vehicles, Armoured trucks etc.

I agree. But I hope they are a free roam style mission like those. That way white dots can interfere and take the money. Makes it super intense then

How come some people are more excited for high life? Its just apartments and cars right? Or am I missing something...

I'd have more fun with being able to store 10 new cars and buy a second property than what heists would provide

Nah, but it'll be key in helping to maintain my interest. Things can get pretty stale online after an hour or so, with heists that wouldn't be the case.

I'd much prefer a well contructed Cops 'n Crooks mode, though. It doesn't even have to pay out well, the fun factor it provided in IV was more than enough.

I have a feeling Rockstar is only going to release 1 Heist mission at first, and maybe 1 extra one very couple months just to milk Online for as much as possible.

God i really hope this isn't the case. At least hoping for 3 to begin with

The severity of future mods and cheats, how many people use them, and how much they personally affect me will be make-or-break for me. If half of the people in the game start killing me in my apartment with passive on, get a tank into my garage and destroy all of my vehicles and make me pay for the insurance, somehow install ignition bombs on all of my vehicles, steal all of my money, and other serious sh*t like that, that's when I stop playing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - a lot of people have already convinced themselves that heists will suck, and no matter how good they really are they're not going to be able to enjoy them because they won't let themselves enjoy them. I know it may sound silly but I stand by it. I haven't been building them up like the Second Coming DLC and I'm going to go in without any expectations at all, and everyone will be best off doing the same. But that won't happen.

No, I'll continue to play regardless. Matter of fact, not one game out there or just about to drop that interests me.

I don't care at all about Watch Dogs. Ps4 has games I like but unless gta ports over, I'll be laying off getting one.

Mission creator will be good in the fact it will be new missions. A lot will suck but there will be some diamonds in the rough.

Depends how much the payout is, difficulty, and how long they last, but I won't quit Online. If heists are overly difficult, lasts nearly an hour and only pay 50k, I'll go back to grinding RR if it has not been patched to reduce payouts.

Don't care about heists, and don't really care much about the game anymore.

If they choose to add new stuff I'll play with it, otherwise I'll be on other games most of the time.

I don't know why everyone pretends that heists will save online, they're just longer missions with a higher payout.

Well for starters i can have some of the cars i had before Business DLC etc such as the sultan rs and the entity back. I can also have other cars i liked that i couldn't fit in my previous garage due to it being full :)
