Comet VS The World

I've been daily driving a comet for the longest time now. I've finally tamed that beast and I've been able to outrun every super car so far, I love getting bounties. Lol. It seems like most people forget there cars have brakes.. Anyone else tame the almighty comet?

I have one. It's fun to drive but I prefer my Akuma or Bati for bounty hunting and evading.

I used to have a Comet on one of my characters and I actually enjoyed the vehicle. Yes, It does tend to be all over the place, but It just takes getting used to and once you get used to the feel of the car, It's no problem. It's especially fun in the rain . The missing option of being able to take the spoiler off does take points away from it though. The GTA IV Comet version would be a nice addition.

don't really get why people complain so much about the spoiler. all high performance 911s have spoilers. if you don't like how they look, that's fine, but porsche adds them for function, not aesthetics.

Pfister is inspired by Porsche ergo the complaint regarding the aesthetics of a wing on a Comet as it pertains to GTA 5 is legitimate. It's poorly implemented.

It's a design element that annoys a lot of players, myself included. May not bother you but it does me and as you're noticing others in this thread. You can't take a "Comet" as it's designed to be a car loosely based on an existing/pre-existing makes/models to hold real water when compared to their influences. Why? It's a fictitious vehicle inspired by reality.

 

Otherwise it'd be called a Porsche 911 Turbo S or a GT2 or a GT3 - that's not the case here. The Sentinel XS is a nice example of this. BMW E92 M3 GTS? M3 even? Please don't even get me started on that one. Besides, spoilers have no actual function here.

My main gripe is that you can't take off the spoiler. I should be able to remove spoilers off any car.

 

I sold my comet not long ago to make room so I could get my futo back. It will definitely be in my next garage though. Love how fat the rear tyres are.

You should be hell of a driver to outrun super in Comet.

But you'll never outrun hell-of a driver in Super, driving your Comet. No, sir.

Car like this requires you to stay concentrated, on your nerves, analyzing situations and outcomes, it's a good school. But just imagine for a minute, what if you'll face another driver with this qualities on super?

What I understand about people at GTA Online Race:

 

Level 4 Engine, Turbo, Max Transmission + Fully pressed Accelerator = 1st Win!

 

And then all of their cars get wrecked on hard objects.
