Farthest base jump off VINE WOOD sign?

How far have you base jumped going south off any of the letters of the VINE WOOD sign?

 

I made it to Hawick Ave. Has anyone else landed farther?

I mostly do Mt Chiliad, but I've never done the sign jump. I think I will go try this now.

By base jump you mean distance traveled before deploying chute right?

Never tried the vinewood sign but usually off Mt Chiliad I can get over the water before deploying.

I gave it a go and ended up on the road directly in front of maze bank. Holding L1 + R1 the whole way.

Actually quite surprising, it took like 5 minutes.

I was doing a gate glitch (that launches you in the sky) with a buddy at the dam in the hills...well, you know the small U-shaped lake in the hills? There's a small circle street there with a bunch of gates that serve as a glitch. I went flying in car near the top of the hill that has the Vinewood sign. Instead of taking a car back, I hopped off one of the O's and went right. Using up-and-down, I managed to make it at the start of the street of the U-shaped lake. It's a veeeeery slow glide as you're going so slow to make it those extra metres. It's not far but it's a bit tough as it goes up a hill at some point.

I wish the map had marked spots to jump off (like Gay Tony had) and you could see who could glide the longest.

There are a lot of parachutes scattered across the map at good jump spots unfortunately not marked though. Easy to find with a helicopter. One of the letters has a chute on it. I personally like mount josiah for base jumps

I'll have to give it a try and find out. I've only done Chilliad and skyscrapers.

I've done the jump but I don't remember how far I got. I wasn't going for distance, just screwing around. I have gone off the north coast and choppered up to the sky box and jumped. It took forever but I made it to the airport with plenty of altitude to keep going out to sea if I had wanted to.

My friend tried flying a Mallard through the D. He did not know these were there.

Snapmatic needs a feature like Vine so you could all see it spinning and sparking.

ive tried this many many many many many times ..... ive never acheived it ... yet... and i do get my bike into some really obscure places but the vinewood sign has always eluded me

I should try that bike trick also. Yesterday I also managed to get on a moving train with my bike. That took some time, but I quess the Vinewood sing is much much much more harder..

It seems like it. I can't really tell though because you go so much slower than just holding down on the stick.
