Are You Expecting A Spring Release For Heists?

Patience is a virtue.

That's funny, considering we have waited over half a year for something that was supposed to have been in the game from the start...

If that isn't patience....

 

they never said heists would be released when online was released. And if your mad you should quit playing. not continue to support them by playing their game and then going to a game forum and spending more time on the game

 

In the

Heists were advertised and this was a trailer advertising what to expect when GTA Online released. Additionally, it was stated in the GTA Online previews from IGN, Gameinformer, etc. that Rockstar was realizing Heists on day one.

Trailers are only what could be in something not what content is actually in something. If rockstar said in a statement "heists released on day one" then you are correct but as yet, no one can link to where rockstar said this.

 

Ign and others may of said it will be in online but did they actually say when? Or just "you can play heists online"...

here 1st June is the first day of Summer, not 21st.

I admit I had never really thought the Spring dates through much.

 

Living in Australia, I consider Winter to start on the 1st of June and have NEVER used anything but this date in my life to delineate seasons (however pointless doing so is). I guess this means Summer can be considered to start in the Northern Hemisphere on 1st of June. However I have read it is often considered to start of the 21st of June in places in the Northern Hemisphere.

 

I think R* just likes ambiguity otherwise they would have answered the obvious question of when they consider spring to end and given an indication of at least the High Life release date.

It seems most likely to me that Rockstar don't know what to do, heists were probably done ages ago but they realised giving out huge rewards would invalidate all other ways of making money (including cash cards), yet why bother doing a difficult heist mission for a low payout?

 

They've just shot themselves in the foot with the Catch 22 of you running heists for money but them not wanting to give you lots of money for free, but also knowing there will be a backlash from players if payouts are sub-par to running Rooftop Rumble 24/7.

 

Probably still beating themselves up over it while milking as many cash card sales as they can - hence more new vehicles and multi-apartments coming first. They know buying all that and filling new 10 car garages will break most players now the gifted billions are gone and they'll drag out launching heists as long as they can to make the most of it.

High Life will probably come out in summer and heists by Christmas. That's my honest prediction.

I never cared about the heist all I want is new clothes, cars, weapons and places to live. This game is starting to bore me now I would like new stuff to stop me from being bored all the time when I play it.

 

Heist are just going to be overrated and overhyped in my opinion, I know it was this games selling point but now every time I hear somebody talk about heist I'm like "Meh"

 

If I had the keys to Rockstar and the money as well I would release content weekly "Oh you want more clothes here is more clothes you want a new car he is a new car"

 

This would be my dream for GTA Online and then maybe all my friends will come back on and play it

They said Heists will be announced this spring so I would expect their release to be (at the most) within a month of the aforementioned announcement. Of course this is just idle speculation.

Whoever wrote that is an idiot.

 

GTA got boring quickly when you could afford everything and had nothing to work towards. As for grinding, the need for that exists only in individual players minds as most don't seen to understand the concept of how long this game will be around until GTA VI is released nor do they understand how to save for something. They want everything handed to them on a plate straight away. I've not done any grinding, glitching, exploiting or the like in this game, nor have I wasted my cash (even when I was gifted a stupid amount). I've bided my time, not wasted too much in free-roam and the upshot is I have money in the game to burn on any new buyable in-game content once it is released and hopefully still have a decent amount left.
