FGC
Hello. Where I may find complex patch to SA, which fixes tons of game bugs? I search for that project many days and all what I found is big count of little fixes and some useful mods like TTDISA. That variant is hard, long and not useful to find and install. Isnt modders cooperates to create one full fix pack, like projects for TES series or Gothic? Silent
Moved to an appropriate section. Staying on topic, I don't think there is a MASS patch for the game. I've only seen mods which fix coding errors (like mine) or model errors. Not both. FGC
Its very strange that patch not present. Because too many bugs needs to be fixed in one pack: spec highlight fix Missing Decal Fix Sandking txd Fix Converted mobile version resources (Android Vehicle Details, Android Vegetation, Fingers for CJ from mobile version game, HD map from mobile, skateboard HD icon, etc.) Restored moon phases from PS2 - fix exists in nature? Reflections on cars, reflections on helicopter and cars from light sources (only heli blades and car wheels have them) - fix exists in nature? Fixed car twitch in cutscenes on PC (lags in first cutscene, where police car is driving) - fix exists in nature? Restored rampage missions from PS2 - restored in TTDISA (Added several Rampages around San Andreas - these are single player versions of the PS2 ones and can be found in the same places. They work exactly as they did in previous GTA games, and your performance in them will be included in your stats.) Better parachute animation from PS2 - restored in TTDISA Restored heli rotor blades alpha (they look better on PS2 when in flymotion) - fix exists in nature? Restored some parked cars from PS2 - some of them fixed in TTDISA, I think. In San Fierro the two railroad crossings in Doherty have glitches on the signals; the barriers appear too high up and too far to the right. They are functional, but do not spawn correctly. - not fixed anywhere as I know. Restored dual rear wheels on some cars from PS2 (Yosemite, Tanker, Roadtrain) I dont find fix for that. The DFT30 truck no longer has a missing wheel. - fixed in TTDISA too. In GTA San Andreas, a visual glitch is present in the Bobcat. If you go to any Transfenders mod shop and choose any exhaust pipe mod option, the custom exhaust pipes will be incorrectly placed inside the rear bumper. - fix exists in nature? PC version of a regular Sadler lacks a sheen while the beater variant has one. There is a glitch with the beater Sadler: if you cause enough damage to get rid of the rear bumper, it will show a license plate attached to nothing. - fix exists in nature? Restored unique map odjects from PS2 - fixed in TTDISA (The exterior decorations and objects that were missing from outside the Four Dragons Casino as well as the car park signs for The Visage have been restored to match the PS2 version. In addition, the typo on the Four Dragons sign has been fixed.) Restored ped waypoints from PS2 (some places, Zero RC shop for example) - fix exists in nature? Restored pay'n'spray from PS2 (fixed in TTDISA) ---------------------------------------------------- Restored voice lines from PS2 to "girls for money" - fix exists in nature? ---------------------------------------------------- Sun effects and lens flare from PS2 (You could copy the timecyc.dat from the ps2 disc to your pc game, and the game will read it. But there's an even simpler solution than that - the file "timecycp.dat" on the pc is *identical* to the ps2 timecyc.dat file. So simply backup your original "timecyc.dat" file, make a copy of the "timecycp.dat" file, and rename it to "timecyc.dat", and you'll be set. The reflections on the vehicles won't be any different, but you will get the ps2 sky, environment, lighting, etc. The PS2 lighting is superior. For one thing, the ps2 sun actually works) But is replacing timecyc.dat adds lens flare from PS2 to PC? ---------------------------------------------------- The motorcycle wheels have the white "reflection" on the tires because R* exported the vehicle that way. - are fixed bike models presents anywhere? ---------------------------------------------------- Lightsource reflections on road when rain from PS2 - not asi variant exists? ---------------------------------------------------- I dont miss any important fixes? Silent
Why not try TTDISA then? Also, ---------------------------------------------------- Lightsource reflections on road when rain from PS2 - not asi variant exists? ---------------------------------------------------- why would you want it to be 'not ASI'? No one's editing the EXE directly. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/705335-sa-complex-patch/#findComment-1065295873 Share on other sites
FGC
>Why not try TTDISA then? TTDISA isnt include all fixes listed bellow, so I think TTDISA may be a good base for complex fix with your patch 1.2 for TTDISA of cource. And some notes from TTDISA readme: - Helicopters and Airplanes do not show the correct rotors when flying like they did in Vice City and on the PS2 version (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). - The Sanchez still has blank grey/white areas where it seems that some individual logos should be (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). - The moon does not go through phases like it does on the PS2 version (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). - Unlike the PS2 version, the noises made by CJ when he entertains a prostitute in his car are not heard in the PC version (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). >why would you want it to be 'not ASI'? No one's editing the EXE directly. Well, if there is no variants, so I would use asi. FGC
Great!) Its very useful patch, Im wait for release 1.1 But what about many other issues? >The Sanchez still has blank grey/white areas where it seems that some individual logos should be (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). Its model bug or engine? > The moon does not go through phases like it does on the PS2 version (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). This was fixed anywhere? >Unlike the PS2 version, the noises made by CJ when he entertains a prostitute in his car are not heard in the PC version (this is a bug in the game, not the mod). Script errors? >Restored dual rear wheels on some cars from PS2 (Yosemite, Tanker, Roadtrain) I dont find fix for that. Where I can find fixed models? I found all fixed models exept Yosemite, Roadtrain and Linerunner.
