Mister Pink
San Andreas for me due to the Funk, Hip Hop and classic Rock that was in that game. Vice City comes in a close second. Scarface: The World Is Yours was great too. Edited May 1, 2014 by Mister Pink TheIllaDopest, Mr. Scratch and Verdant 3 🅵🅴🅽🅸🆇 🅵🆄🅽🅺 🅵🅸🆅🅴
Fireman
Original Sound Track or copy+pasted songlists, or do we get to choose both?\ For OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMzJL-IkemA That f*cking Main Theme man. Best SNES theme by a mile. The entire OST of Jade Cocoon is amazing, so I just took one song. Since we can't post too many links, I left out the main menu from Baldur's Gate 2, Sly Coopers Jaws intro, which are two of my other favorites. THPS games had the best tracklists, along with GTA ofcourse, I owe almost all the music I now know to them. Edited May 1, 2014 by Fireman
Fireman
Knights and Merchants, entire OST is cool, but this one is the best. Touhou 6, sh*tty game, awesome songs. And these.

Kiffster
I also LOVE the Quest for Glory series soundtracks, especially Quest for Glory V. I have the QFGV soundtrack disc (it came with the game), and it is awesome. Edited May 1, 2014 by W2B

Wayne Daniels
Wow I can't believe no one has said Red Dead Redemption. Or are we talking about soundtracks, not scores... Anyway that score was absolutely amazing and emotional. Especially the song "Far Away" when you first enter Mexico... Second for me is Hitman 2. Jesper Kyd is a genius. I have Ave Maria on my phone and listen to it all the time. If it's soundtracks you want, Vice City is my number 1. Every time I hear a song on the radio that was in Vice City, it takes me back....like it was just yesterday when I got on that scooter outside of Ken Rosenbergs office and Billie Jean came on. Johan
Excluding the III era GTA games (which are obvious answers, but since this is a GTA forum I'd rather not choose the same games as 50 others) I really enjoyed the soundtrack for Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 on the PS2 days, especially the opening music.. still gives me chills. Tycek
Original: System Shock 2 - fantastic work by Eric Brosius, with almost every track being so climatic. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - great job by Michael McCann, which makes the game truly great experience. Licenced: Saints Row - really good and varied soundtrack. VC - great, but some songs weren't exactly my taste (Espantoso) and I know many of them before (which doesn't mean I don't like them anymore). VCS - in many ways even better than VC soundtrack. Phil Collins signing his best song in a concert in a game? That has to mean something. Edited May 1, 2014 by Tycek
a20characterusername
I don't have any favorites, since what I listen to depends on what I'm doing. There are a few standout soundtracks though, which I usually listen to while I'm working on something in Sketchup. Among them are; GTA Vice City (do licencsed soundtracks count?) Fallout New Vegas (some licensed stuff, some reused songs from earlier Fallout games) Final Fantasy 10/12 Sim City 3/4 Tekken 2 Arc the Lad: Twlight of the Spirits isn't a soundtrack that I'd call a favorite, but it's it's worth an honorable mention since half the soundtrack is still stuck in my head five years after playng it. It just has this weird, almost cinematic vibe to it that I can't really put my finger on.

tuareg
Lincesed is Vice city for sure. Original would have to be either red dead redemption/undead nightmare or GTAV. Both games had amazing soundtracks.

Kiffster
Regarding licensed music, I love Vice City and Vice City Stories' soundtracks, as well as San Andreas and GTAIV. But I also love Burnout Paradise's mix of rock, punk, classical and original Criterion music. Beanee
For licensed soundtrack, it is obviously EA games or one of the larger companies.. stand out licensed soundtracks for me include Burnout paradise, Fifa 2004, SSX, etc For original score though, it'd have to be FF7 and the fantastic Nobuo Uematsu.. that guy could make an angles heart bleed with dispair; http://youtu.be/yHhVnAQwFd0 Just an epic f*ckin' soundtrack! Misbegotten cad
Baten Kaitos on GameCube had the best original soundtrack ever. Sadly not many have heard those awesome compositions because the game was GameCube only, and only two people in this forum had that console! the best playlist award goes to Saints Row 1, because it has huge collection of awesome gangsta rap (you can get the songs from the music stores in the game, and then play them with the characters MP player) -Man, those songs are so brill it is worth buying this old game just so you can listen to them! John The Grudge
Streets Of Rage II. This is an easy one for me. I think the soundtrack (available on iTunes btw) is a brilliant piece of work on it's own. na89340qv0n34b09q340
