Should Vehicle Deathmatches - P996 Lazer, be weapon restricted?

I ran into a very stupid deathmatch created by Rockstar called Fort Zancudo using Lazers. There were 3 players, I thought this wouldn't be too bad. Me being a 205, another a 46 & the other a 9. The 46 quit & it was me & the 9. It didn't turn out as I expected, as me being a skilled Lazer pilot. I ended up being dominated by this player 12-0, with f*cking missiles, which aren't very accurate. I ended up quitting as I didn't want the arch enemy stat to show on SC getting dominated by a very low leveled player.

 

So I decided to make this poll on what you think which weapons should be only used. Missiles or cannons?

jesus christ..if they remove all weapons in the game because some players did not like how they got beat by others with more cool weapons?

Now let's remove everything for this game and make it for 3 years old kids.

The game is a vehicle deathmatch. MIssiles and Cannons are the vehicle. Therefore it is perfectly fine to use. Just because you are not good with them doesn't mean that they need to be restricted just because a low player owned you.

Players will always go for the missiles in a Lazer's deathmatch or GTA air race rather than

the cannons, missiles auto-lock onto you, no work needed by the person firing unlike the

cannons so it's down to your skill as a pilot to avoid the death.

 

I don't think there should be any restriction on the weapons on the Lazer at all and there's

no option to vote for that so I can't make a vote here.

@Obvioulsy, I know how to use the both the cannon & missiles. I just can't stand the lag. You think you evaded the missiles but seconds later you're desd unlike the cannons it's instant.

The only use for the missiles is to get someone to turn around to dodge it, setting up an easy kill with the cannons.

I love fort zancudo death match, its so easy to win.

most people only use lock on missiles. the key is launching the rockets and usng the lock on to find target. then just switch to cannons and try and shoot them down.

it should not be restricted atall.

I switch to rockets, fire off two to to see where they go, then follow them with cannon fire.....I win about half the time.

It's pretty insane with a full lobby. 2-player is kind of lame though.

Honestly, there should be no restrictions at all. GTAO's about preferences, every intersection having multiple different route options. The fact that there is no "None of the above" option in the poll means the poll shouldn't be paid attention to it at all.

In the deathmatch, Host being able to choose between cannon only, missiles only or both. On everything else, both always. Everyone is happy.

I think a jet-based deathmatch should have missiles only. A countdown will show up on the screen when the cannons (machine guns) will "unlock". The timer could be changed by the host but even that would be set to the lowest amount of time or the longest of time making matches either really easy or really hard. Missiles only would be totally fun, especially if you're going against skilled Lazer pilots.

I use the cannons and the kills I got where the player was in a jet was always using the cannons. Shoot a missile or two for distraction, sure, or shoot a missile for a helicopter and add the cannons if I need to. Cannons against a jet is really fun but too easy, especially if you've got the upperhand due to heights, speed, surprise or skills. If everyone was limited to rockets and then "unlock" the cannons after a countdown, it would make jet deatmatches much more interesting.
