*For Serious Survival Players Only*

*Please don't spam this thread with how much you hate survival*

Tell me does this make sense?

It takes us 15-20 minutes and thousands of dollar worth of ammo to complete and we 3400RP & $20,000 which should be a lot higher but it takes 3:00 minutes to complete RR maybe $100-$500 worth of ammo you get 3,600 up too 5,600 (with Free Aim) & you get $18,750.

Don't get me wrong i like RR hell i even have a pinned thread dedicated to helping people find a RR session but why does it pay more/equal to Rooftop Rumble you would think because of all the effort you have to put into winning a survival you would be given a generous RP & Money for your time.

'm not asking for much but is 10,000RP and $40-$50,000 too much to ask for?

('ve heard a lot of people say that if they added new maps (They added one new map) and increased the payout for RP & Cash they would do it a lot more.

We should be able to change the difficulty on the survival to Easy, Normal & Hard

Payout would be as such

Easy: 20K + 3K per round

Normal: 35K + 6K per round

Hard: 50K + 9K per round

If you finish the survival on Easy you get 50K, on Normal you get 95K and on hard you get 140K

Which easy level the arsenal should be difference to make the payout worth the trouble.

On easy they'd use basic pistol to start, normal would have combat, hard AP. and the progression would be similar with the other categories.

Other people want unlimited rounds with a 5k payout where you go until you die which is what survival matches are on all other games you go until everybody dead or instead of waves you get cash/rp per kill instead of 10rp per kill you'll get 500 cash/rp per kill.

You would get more money if you complete the survival solo or with one other person.

If we win we should receive the amount of money we spent on ammo during the survival but if you failed you don't get the money back.

R* messed with the payout so much in the last 11 updates

You have to vote in both polls. But there is nothing that applies to us in the second poll if we chose *no* in the first one.

Just wanted to let you know, OP.

No, I don't play survival, because it takes loo long and requires too much ammo to be worth only $20k.

And I don't find it very fun, compared to a lot of the missions in the game.

Your poll needs more options. I play survivals because my wife likes them....I don't need the money or rp....I'm an og.

Really neither like bio said either for fun or to get up my shooting/sneak stat.

RR has replaced survival now.

Yeah I play survival for the challenge, especially when your teammates keep dying it feels good to carry your team. The money and RP I don't care about too much, but when I was lower level that was also a big reason I played them

Black Terminator

I play Survivor to test my skills and to play for fun.

You should add a "Sometimes" option and a "For fun" or "Neither" option.

I play survival just for the heck of it.

Last time I played it for money. The first time I passed it I was like "OMG20kwadafaqthismustplayagainomg", but now "meh"

once again like most of the people in this thread, I play it for fun with crew members, the money and rp are secondary at best

I agree it's fun to do but the point of this is don't you think the payouts should be greater to equal to Rooftop Rumble in payouts do to the difficulty

Is this The Guy?

I play survival for fun as well. The payout/cost of ammo ratio isn't very good so I just go into survival when I want to kill everything lol

Survival is dull now, played them hundreds of times, definitely need new ones or the option to create them. RR on the other hand isn't fun nor boring but i play it to help other people because now I need neither money or RP.

As for the money its too much you're asking for, would never happen. I believe it should be at least 30K, no more than that. Also survivals should be about fun.

I agree with this, it reminds me of GoW's horde mode which is loads of fun, only this is 10 waves so it's not as grindy. It would be nice if they gave us at least 20-30 seconds between each break as a quality of life change instead of the 15. maybe add a "buy back in" option when you feel you died stupidly and are willing to pay the fine, which rises in cost each wave up to the finale

CrysisAverted

Think in order to make Suvival more viable you should be able to pick up ammo and keep it after Survival (as you should)

I would disagree with the "thousands of dollar worth of ammo" part... You leave out the fact that, between rounds, you get a free run at weapons, body armor, health and dropped cash. If you time it right and do a survival just before you rank up to 120 (just as an example) you can also get a minigun during the survival and, if you get to rank 120 before leaving the session, you don't have to buy the minigun at Ammunation. That alone normally costs around $45k, IIRC. Pretty sure that you can use this method with many weapons that normally need to be bought.

I wholeheartedly agree. Payouts need to be adjusted across the board. Missions like landing strip, high priority case, no hay bronca, etc.. don't get the credit they deserve.

@AiraCobra- just a correction to your OP: they've added two survivals since release. Del Perro and Maze Bank

& add more waves with enemies coming at you more recklessly, with the addition of grenade launchers & rpgs in certain waves. Definitely would at a new feel to survival.

You would think things would be more proportionate, but with this game that's not always the case.

For example, if a job takes longer, you would expect more of a payout. If a job is made for 1-4 players, you would think by doing it solo you would get more (an example would be that mission for Simeon where you have to steal the 4 quad bikes. You get the same with 4 people, each grabbing a quad in no time, but doing it yourself, you have to go back 4 times in order to get them all, and you would think that would be worth more doing it solo, as you are doing more work).

Survivals are fun, but if you go by a time and ammo vs payout, it's not near as profitable as the more common farming jobs.

Pity, there are so many fun things to do in this game that everybody avoids due to crappy payouts. If Rockstar put some attention to this, it would be a much better rounded, and fun experience.

i agree with more pay and higher levels (above 10) BUT we need bigger survivor areas with a possibility to have a 6 person party instead of the 4.

I agree with what you're basically trying to convey here, but, if the payout was based on how long it takes, what stops someone from intentionally lollygagging through a mission so that they get a higher payout...? We've seen it in some cases with racing, where people are finding the "sweet spot" for maxing cash and RP.

Unfortunately IMO, too many are focused on the "maximize profit while minimizing time spent" model of playing... That's not gonna change with R* changing the payouts... All's you'll get is people finding the "New Rooftop Rumble," meaning finding the job that maximizes profit while minimizing time spent.

Maybe, instead of worrying about how much something pays, people should just play what they want...? Just a thought.

i played survival a couple times when i was a low level, at the moment it was nice to be able to earn 20k but later as payouts were adjusted and i unlocked other missions i notice how unbalanced thing were.

i remember receiving 15k for a 5mimute mission that requires you to kill 7 guys, steal an rv and deliver, that day i loss respect for survival.

for all the time, effort and expense that goes into doing a survival it should simply pay more.

the proposed payout by OP are close to what i have proposed before in others threads about this topic.

my suggestion is 25k in easy, 40k in normal and 60k in hard.

this payout increase wont divert people from RR but would make things more fair for those that enjoy doing the survivals.

You young whippersnaps with your Rooftop Rumble ... when I first started playing this game way back in early October, all of us were lower-level geeks and we all grinded Boneyard over and over again 'cause we were like "$20,000! Holy sh*t!"

I still play 'em as a sentimental thing more than anything else.

Del Perro Pier has been there for a very long time and the Maze Bank is the one i am talking about that was added with the 1.10 or 1,11 update i was refering to Survivals within the last update or two

Yeah you posted in another thread i made about it a few months ago i can find that thread so i had a rough draft from it so i think that is where i got that from.

I play them pretty often, just for fun, i really don't mind the fact that it takes longer then most of the missions.

I do agree the payout should be at least higher then RR tho.
