Level 100.....FINALLY! Takes forever?

well in my case it took quite a long time to get to level 100 because i completely stopped doing missions around level 57...

 

i ranked up by simply going out in huge killing sprees and battling in freeroam.

 

i was put in bad sport on february 15, around the time i reach level 100, celebrating with my new rpg, blowing up roosevelts haha

 

i left bad sport being a level 123, as i played Rooftop rumble couple times a day for 51 days as i used that mission to glitch myself out of bad sport, so it was win-win for me.

 

sometimes i wonder what level wouldni be right now if i didnt stop doing mission back in november...

Things slowed down a bit after 200.

There's some noticeable drag between 50 and 150 though.

I don't know why people are suggesting doing races. Every race I do, I get about 1k cash every lap I finish. I do 2 lap races, win first, I get a little over 2k cash and barely any RP at all. Is there a specific setup that helps racing not be a waste of time?

None of them are about me nor do i make a thread just to announce something i actually put some though into my thread and ask myself if it would be locked or not before i post it and see if it belongs elsewhere first if i did my threads would be locked and i haven't hard a thread locked in months except for one i requested locked.

 

The thread was originally locked by Raavi and re-opened and the OP made his second post if he would have included his 2nd post in his OP i wouldn't have said that and i apologized after he made the 2nd post but in his first post you can understand my statement

Yeah, but to keep it you have to buy ammo for it/mod it after the survival. I did it with the minigun, probably should have just bought it considering I could have done RR at least twice in the time it took to get to round 8 or whatever, but I think the RPG shows up in round 4 or 5 on some maps so it may be worth doing.

Im level 130 on my main, hit that 120 and got the minigun before christmas. Now I am level 115 on my second character. Have fun playing the game, levels come naturally then.

having to level up that much just to unlock a monkey mask is such a pain in the ass. especially since most of the other masks are so terrible.

 

fastest way to level up is to host missions for people here on the forums. got my second character up to level 150 without noticing.

I remember being on RR the second night Gta online had been up; and for nearly two months my friends and I still received spam invites to violent duct.

 

For the time RR was available in its pre-patched form "10 to 20 second mission, restart" I don't doubt that many "legit" players spammed it for upwards of 150 ranks; I have a friend who went from 50 to 180 in little more than one nights session. I refrained from relying on it and owe close to 30 of my levels to RR pre-patch, "70-100+"..and I proceeded to get the latter 20 ranks from pure mission variety..as well the next 100+.

 

For as long as I knew about the Rooftop Rumble exploit, I could have Easily been well over rank 300 before October was out.. I'm sure many players can say the same. In some ways I regret willingly avoiding the easy road, "and it was easy..".. sure it would have been monotonous but if I had known then, how long we would be waiting for heist's or additional co-op content I think I would have been much easier to tempt.

I know how you feel. On my first account it took me 6 months to get to 106. Now on my new account it's less than a month that I got to where I am now.

 

Leveled 2 levels in less than an hour.

You can easily get 5 levels per day with Rooftop Rumble.

Evn when you couldnt repeat rooftop rumble,winning races gave a very good amount of RP especially at the launch of online.

Clearly it didn't take forever.

 

Took me 2 or 3 months to reach rank 100, but beyond 120 ranking-up becomes stupidly fast. That's why I'm rank 223 now. There's not real point ranking up stupidly fast. Didn't see Rooftop Rumble until I was into the 80's and even then it only appeared once in a blue moon.

 

Shouldn't this be in the story thread, as it is a story albeit not a cool one as reaching rank 100 is something most of us have done ages ago?

One of the things I like about GTA:O is how it doesn't take that much time for noticeable progression, even at the higher levels. I just went up a couple levels yesterday. How? Races races races races races

2 - you've got 20 levels for the minigun, after that it has no use or meaning.

You miss the point. This thread is a story/achievement you have chosen to share, nothing more. It is a thread relevant to YOU playing GTA Online, not the rest of the player base. I would have suggested the story thread, rather than the general bullsh*t thread.

I remember sitting at level 30 wanting the Pogo mask more than anything. I thought it would take too long and id never get to it. A few days ago I reached level 100. Dreams do come true.

Really? Because I thought it was a thread about me making it to 100 and asking other players about their experience and if they notice it getting progressively harder to level up...but thank you for telling me what I really meant. :-/
