I would like to mention to people that are looking for this vehicle that is spawned at the Richard Majestic movie studios car park at around 6am - 8am on Monday (GTA time). I can't remember the exact time, but I am 100% sure it was between those two times Would also like to point out that this wasn't part of Simeons' vehicle requests. EKGene Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) I noticed just yesterday, while exiting my garage to start a session, that the "Sentinel Guy" was actually in an Obey Tailgater, as he drove in his typical erratic fashion, with radio blaring and such. Chased him down, just to kill him and destroy the vehicle. The Tailgater is a decent car from a modding perspective, but even with the top end mods, its acceleration is somewhat lacking. Not a terrible vehicle overall to own, though. Also, I just remembered that the Tailgater is like the only vehicle that Lamar makes a comment about during the car selection portion of the tutorial's race, "Mall or Nothing." He says things like, "oh, that's that Tailgater," or "what you trying to pull," when you select the Obey Tailgater as your race vehicle. Kind of interesting. lilmoonpie Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 If you want a good four-door and don't mind paying a couple of hours of Rooftop Rumble work for it, the Dewbachee Exemplar is not only noticeably faster than the Tailgater, it handles better (both fully modded). It does have less "looks" mods available. I drove the Tailgater as my main car for months, but always yearned for something with extra power. The Exemplar's my main car now. Will keep my Tailgater, though - I've got all three of the Obey cars in the game, might as well keep them. But if something really good comes along before we get new garage space in 2090, anything could happen. How come it seems nobody races Sedans or Coupes? I actually had a dude hosting and wanna race Sports Classics today, and it wound up being 1-on-1. He had a Z-Type, I had my fully modded Monroe. I got such a huge lead on him he quit the race. Commander S Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 It's got a surprising amount of 'street' mods, for a sedan - bit like the Prairie has, for the compacts.That, plus it's a 4-door - I'm planning on getting one for my 2nd character, in lieu of a Sultan (already got one for my 1st character, don't want the same car twice), for group missions. Not the fastest mover, admittedly, but the handling is really forgiving, as are the brakes - again, decent 'team getaway car' material, particularly if you want something you can mod in a distinctive way. It's a nice handling car in races, but lacks majorly in the acceleration department. Most races that involve sedans require acceleration, so I traded up to a Felon and started winning races.
