Lethal Vaccine
This topic is for anyone who is into collecting unique and/or proof vehicles from missions. I have just recently started SA over about 10-14 days ago and I am going for 100% Completion again. However, on this time around, I am trying to obtain such vehicles from the missions. Here is the list I am trying to obtain and the ones that are crossed out are the ones I obtained already. I did have to skip both the DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police Car and the AP (All Proof) Bravura. For the Police Car, I was simply impatient and the Bravura would of been too much for me as it required to shoot it back to a safehouse, and I hate obtaining cars that way.  AP Tampa, AP Admiral, AP Sentinel, BP/EP/FP/MP Patriot, AP Sabre, AP Sadler, BP/EP/FP Fortune, BP/FP/EP Elegy, Off-Road/FP ZR-350, AP Merit, AP Savanna, AP Boxville, DP/EP/FP/MP Rancher, DP/FP Rumpo, AP/EC Maverick, AP Mothership, AP Buffalo, AP Newsvan, AP/EC Vortex, AP Infernus, AP Glendale, Barracks, FBI Rancher, BP/FP SWAT Tank, AP Feltzer  The FBI Rancher and Barracks are not unique vehicles that you see on my list, they are just "harder" to obtain. I already have the FBI Rancher, though. So I am obtaining the Barracks during the mission "Black Project" where you steal the jetpack. During this mission it has a no wanted level exploit so I can get it from Area 69 no problem. I will also get a Tank, because during this mission I will obtain the AP Mothership with hippy paintjob and I will push it to a safehouse with the Tank.  So, out of all these vehicles, my most difficult one thus far would have to be the AP Savanna, as it took an extreme amount of patience to push it all the way from Angel Pine back to the San Fierro Doughty (spelling? lol) Garage once it was blown up.  However, of the ones I have not obtained yet, I think the hardest for me will be the AP Newsvan, AP Infernus, and AP Greenwood. The AP Fire Truck will require a lot of practice and patience, too, but I think I can pull it off. It's much easier on PC, but I am playing it on my PS3 with the PS2 disc, as it's backward compatible.  The Greenwood will be tough. This is the only one I might skip. Is there any way to get this easier than it looks on the Youtube videos? Edited May 15, 2014 by Militia
Bnd
Actually, Greenwood is donable in PS2 , I did it at my 60? attempt, heh, but it was worth it! Â Also, Black Maverick was tough to get, i failed alot of times, other cars was pretty easly to get for me. Lethal Vaccine
You think the AP Greenwood is doable in End of the Line? You got any tips to do it? Everything I see involves shooting it to a safehouse while being wanted by cops and having peds riot with you. This makes me feel like I won't be able to obtain it. Not to mention I must keep my camera on it at all times... Edited April 30, 2014 by Militia
Bnd
its nightmare in deed, tips? #1 Try avoid cops (if youre chased kill them with Parachute) #2 Try Flip Greenwood upside down its sliding nicely #3 Upgrade Your heal and armor to maximum #4 Be Patient its hard though. #5 Rescue some Gang Members (I rescued 2-3 it was enough) #6 Control Gang Area where you will be pushing the Wreck. Lethal Vaccine
Thanks. I'll be on that End of the Line mission within a couple weeks. I currently in Las Venturas right now completing 19 missions and obtaining the AP Buffalo from Misappropriation. Â Last night, I finished the Desert missions and obtained the AP Mothership. Pretty happy about that, tbh. It only took 2 tries, but the first try it disappeared! LOL, second try, it actually blew up when I was pushing it with the Rhino Tank to the Verdant Meadows garage, however, it KEPT the properties. It surely is AP as I tested it out, after the mission. It also kept it's paintjob, which I heard sometimes disappears for some people. Â Also, I have been backing my save up on a USB everytime I obtain a vehicle on my quest, thus, never losing a vehicle. If something disappears, I reload the previous save. So far, I am gold, though. Nothing has been disappearing to date and everything is perfect! Currently have 18 out of 28 vehicles I want to obtain. Â Everytime I think about how I skipped the DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police Car and the AP Bravura, it pisses me off! I should have got those! Oh well, I am not too worried about it, but it would have been nice to obtain those! Â Â EDIT: Yeah, I know about the Parachute Trick. I will indeed have one. If I flip the Greenwood upside down, couldn't I just get a car and push it to a safehouse? I already have my health and armor maxed since I did Paramedics and Vigilante. I'll be sure to get some Gang Members recruited and I will surely be patient. It's just annoying on PS2/3 since keeping the camera on the vehicle is much easier on PC. PS2/3 has sh*t disappear way too easily. Edited May 1, 2014 by Militia
Bnd
Actually, the Mothership i obtained also one without paintjob, cause its can be normal camper too! it was easy quite. i skiped LSPD Police Car only, it gives me nightmares all the time loading the save all over agin N-I-G-H-T-M-A-R-E, i tried about 200 times? near that. so i givedup. AP Bravura? it was easy i did it at my first attempt actaully. Â And the Greenwood is not pushable its like the AP Bravura you need Sawn method, becouse it was cutscene car and after cutscene ends its stucked to ground like the bravura. anyway i also love to obtain the rare vigilante cars, like Enginless NRG thats my fav Vehilce in game actually and its also has FP/EP ! Lethal Vaccine
Yes, I know you can obtain the regular "Camper" without the paintjob, but I prefer the one with the paintjob. It looks pretty neat. Â Yeah, that DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police Car is quite annoying. I didn't try that many times, but I did, however, try about 25 times and got bored of reloading and trying again. It's just a pain in the ass, but it's ok because I have a DP/EP/FP/MP Rancher and a DP/FP Rumpo. Â Yes, the AP Bravura isn't too challenging, but I skipped it because I despise having to use Sawn-Off Shotguns to shoot it to safehouse. It's very annoying in PS2/3 because the vehicles disappear a lot easier than on the PC version... Â Yes, I didn't use the mission Gray Imports to make any vehicles FP/EP. However, I have the Hotknife, Bullet; just in regular car form, not proofed. And I will obtain the Phoenix from one of the San Fierro races. Of course, again, it's not gonna be FP/EP, though. Those are my least favorite proofings, tbh. I only really like BP and DP vehicles. It's why I try to go for all or most of the AP vehicles including DP vehicles. Also good ones to have are the BP/FP/EP ones like the Fortune, Elegy, and Patriot I have. Â I only have 8 more vehicles to obtain and they are all in the last few missions when I return to Los Santos once I finish the remaining 6 missions in Las Venturas. Today I obtained and stored the Barracks and the AP Buffalo from the mission Misappropriation! I edited my list above. Lethal Vaccine
Ok, I obtained the AP Infernus yesterday by doing the PS2 glitch method with moving CJ during the cutscene and driving the Infernus into Glen Pond. Was pretty easy once I got the hang of it actually. It was literally impossible to get it to flip with either the Tractor nor the Monster Truck. I tried with both and it never would even get close. So I am glad I passed that one. Also, before that, I got the AP Newsvan finally with the AP/EC Vortex. Today, I just got the AP Glendale. Only 4 more vehicles to go on my quest. They are all in End of the Line, the final mission of the game and that is the mission I am on now!
OrionSR
I'd appreciate any details you can offer on your efforts to collect the FI Ladder Truck. I haven't read many reports from PS2 players working on this vehicle. IIRC, one PS2 player reported that the quick method suggested for PC players was easier than the slow and steady method that I was suggesting. Of the special vehicles I've collected, this one proved to be one of the most interesting challenges. Lethal Vaccine
Lethal Vaccine
Hey man ^^^ Â jam8tone on Youtube has the PS2/3 method of obtaining this vehicle. I believe it's what you are talking about. With slowly driving a route while keeping the camera facing the direction of the AP Fire Truck. That will be the method I will try. Â My friend, on this forum, DutchGangsta, has obtained the AP Fire Truck from End of the Line and he is playing the PSN/PS3 GTA SA whereas I am playing the PS2 version on my PS3. He got it a couple weeks ago... Â But sure. I will keep you updated in this topic on my quest. Tomorrow, I am obtaining the BP/FP SWAT Tank and AP Feltzer. Then I gotta work on the AP Fire Truck and AP Greenwood. Â I am telling you right now, though, that I will probably skip the AP Greenwood if it gives me too much trouble. I will TRY to get it, though. Seems like the worst vehicle to obtain in the game at this point. Youtube videos show 45 minutes or shooting it back to a safehouse. Which imo is the worst method for obtaining such a vehicle. I rather do any other method than that...I shot the AP Newsvan to a garage, but I was anxious the entire time doing it as it's so tedious and you don't want cops to get on you or it becomes very annoying. I hate the shooting method, it sucks...
OrionSR
Interesting. Â Â He follows almost the same route I was using, but makes a turn at about the 1:25 mark that I would have made about 30 seconds sooner. The extra block brought him into an area that spawns a little traffic, which could present a small problem (getting blocked unexpectedly can really throw off the camera control). I wonder if he had some other reason for using that route.
Lethal Vaccine
@ OrionSR, you think I can pull it off? Â I sure hope so. At this point, the only worrisome vehicle on my list is the AP Fire Truck as I honestly am thinking I will just skip the AP Greenwood after trying it only a couple times. But the AP Fire Truck I won't give up on. Gonna obtain at least 3 out of the 4 remaining vehicles on my list. If I do that, I will have 24 proof vehicles and 2 police vehicles I just like, FBI Rancher and Barracks which will give me 26 total vehicles for my collection. Â Out of this quest, I only have lost 1 vehicle in the garage and it was one that is worthless to me. The AP HPV-1000. It's not needed in my eyes as you can still fall off your bike and lose health/armor, and you can still be shot at from helicopters. I much rather a 4 tired vehicle over a motorcycle. At least nothing else disappeared and it's all there. I have my save backed up, so nothing will ever disappear...I can assure you! Luuk'
I have most of the AP vehicles, my most prized one the AP Infernus. Â Getting the Fire Truck and Greenwood, was h*ll though, put managed it with some luck. Â I did got the Feltzer easily, but then realized it had an open roof and that it would be useless against Heli's. Â And @OrionSR, do you know if the AP Vortex doesn't get chased by Police Heli's, but Hydra's, because the game thinks it's an aircraft? OrionSR
Yes, I think you can pull it off, if you have the patience. I have a few notes in the dedicated topic linked below. I suggest a lot of research into the detonation timing for this method. Installing the bomb is the obvious challenge; when you do pull it off you'll want your best shot to make it count.  Since I'm not sure how transparent our special vehicle traditions are anymore, I'll post a few useful links.  GameFAQs: Bulletproof Car Walkthrough by System Error - our common reference for all special vehicles GTAForums: "Official" Unofficial System Error Guide Updates - all new vehicles or methods are reported with a clear description and a link to a dedicated topic GTAForums: Swiping Tenpenny's Indestructible Firetruck - this topic is dedicated to this vehicle - questions and chatter are encouraged  CJ will still take damage when driving an FI motorcycle, so the vehicle immunities only help a little. CJ will not take damage from helicopters when driving a bicycle, and neither does the bike.  If the Vortex is considered an aircraft, then how could it be used to complete unique stunt jumps? Why does driving a Vortex increase driving skill if it's an aircraft? Do you know that the Vortex is resistant to being discarded by the impound garages, a property it shares with aircraft? Have you encountered the glitch experienced by PS2v1 players where the game crashes when CJ exits a Vortex after using a Pay'n'spray? (Ha, I managed to contort that into a question. Um...) Have you played around with using the Vortex as a submarine? Does CJ get a free parachute if he has 40%+ flight skill and bails from an airborne Vortex? (I actually don't know the answer to this one.) Is an immune Vortex different from any other Vortex? Are we getting too far off-topic? Lethal Vaccine
I now have my save backed up. I just got the BP/FP SWAT Tank and AP Feltzer. Tomorrow is the big, and final day. Gotta try for the AP Greenwood, and then obtain the AP Fire Truck. Then pass the mission End of the Line. Then will back my save up again from that point and can just work on getting to 100% Completion. I am 75% now, should be around 76% when I finish the final mission. Â @OrionSR, thanks for the links. I will check them out in a little bit. Â Also, I believe End of the Line has a checkpoint. I think if you get to the part where you gotta follow Tenpenny in the Fire Truck, you will always start there. Since I got mission failed for obtaining the AP Feltzer AFTER leaving the Crack Palace, I believe I won't have to do that part again and can just concentrate on the drive for the AP Fire Truck and taking it to the Bomb Shop... Â Also, I am not worried I lost my AP HPV-1000 Police Bike because the very reason you said above: CJ can still take damage even if it's AP. This is also why I didn't bother obtaining the AP Sanchez, AP PCJ-600, AP FCR-900, or BP/FP/EP BF-400. Bikes are NOT needed, imo. The reason I collect these vehicles is for police chases and having fun after 100%. You can still get shot and lose health on a motorcycle and/or fall off of it, so I prefer to just not bother with proofed motorcycles. The only reason someone would get them is probably cuz they are a bigger collector than I am. They are collecting them "just to have them." Whereas me, I only collect vehicles that will serve a purpose, not just to "have them." Â @OrionSR, I believe DutchGangsta is asking that question because he read somewhere that the AP Vortex or any Vortex for that matter is considered an aircraft to the police in the game and it won't be shot at by enemy helicopters. But what I want to know is can I still be shot and take damage in lets say the AP Savanna, AP Feltzer, and AP/EC Vortex since these vehicles don't have a roof over your head? Â Thanks! Edited May 13, 2014 by Militia
OrionSR
End of the Line has two checkpoints - in the game scripts, it's three missions strung together. I'm pretty sure the first checkpoint is just before heading back down for the escape, but it's not terribly useful. Â I don't really consider the proofed vehicles to be particularly "useful." The SWAT would be an exception since I enjoy long vigilante missions with it. The goal for me is to learn the tricks and improve my skills. I don't save vehicles that require deaths or arrests but I frequently make the collection anyway before reverting to a previous save. I can't think of any practical reason to keep a proofed forklift, but trying to get it safely into a garage when the slightest bump will stir up all kinds or road rage is an interesting challenge - the first couple of times anyway. Â I'm not sure if a roof makes a difference on all vehicles. I suspect the collision for the vehicle might be the same regardless of the roof configuration. I was a fan of using a Savanna for homie gang wars since it's a 4-door convertible so it's easy to see what the passengers are doing. I don't remember taking any damage from stray bullets. Also, helicopters target the vehicle, not the player. This observation based on experiments with bicycles; I've never been hit by a stray heli-bullet no matter how hard I tried. This might be worth investigating further. Â Oh, crap. I read that wrong ("that" instead of "if"). I figured the intent of Dutch's question was to compare notes on the unusual properties of the Vortex. I'm in a feisty spring mood so I was playing around with questions for answers. I guess the straight answer is; I don't know. The emergency response vehicle codes are buried in the engine where I can't read them, and I haven't experimented with vehicle modeling to see how the game reacts differently to... aircraft handling flags, or however that's handled. I'm not even sure if the Vortex is evaluated as an aircraft in mission scripts. Edited May 14, 2014 by OrionSR Lethal Vaccine
Lethal Vaccine
Actually, no vehicle in SA that is proofed I believe requires to be busted. And only 4 vehicles, including that AP Fire Truck requires a death. So yes, I have 3 deaths on my playthrough right now and soon to be 4. But still have 0 busted. I also reload the game if I fail a mission, I don't like to have 109 missions passed and 356 missions attempted or something like that. The only time I purposely fail a mission and save over top of that is when I obtain one of these prizes, the proof vehicles! Â Well, that Forklift only has a BP property, and since it's slow as f*ck, hard to control, and only has a BP property, I passed that one in my quest, too... Â Yeah?! Helicopters target the actual vehicle and not try and shoot the CJ character? That is good to know! That's a very good thing, then, cuz I thought I would be shot at during 6 star police chases in lets say the AP Savanna, AP Feltzer, and AP/EC Vortex... Â I look at the Vortex as a land and sea vehicle. Even though it can float in the air, to me, that doesn't mean an aircraft, tbh... Â Â Anyways, I got the BP/FP Swat Tank and AP Feltzer yesterday. Today I will attempt to get the AP Greenwood and surely get the AP Fire Truck. However, the the Fire Truck it's gonna take numerous tries I can imagine, but I can pull it off. f*ck ton easier than the Greenwood, imo. Â And it brings me back to "House Party" mission...I should of obtain the BP/FP Tahoma, BP/FP Voodoo, AND BP/FP GREENWOOD. If I would of got the BP/FP Greenwood, I would be satisfied. At least I would of had the Greenwood and HALF it's properties than no Greenwood at all...I am kinda pissed I skipped such nice vehicles. I also skipped the AP Bravura and DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police Car, two of which I could of also obtained if I was just a bit more patient. The AP Bravura "scared" me, but now that I obtained the AP Newsvan by shooting it to a safehouse which was a lot farther than the safehouse you shoot the AP Bravura to, I am disappointed I skipped it. Should of got it! AP vehicles are very important to me! Edited May 14, 2014 by Militia
OrionSR
Some vehicles require a death because there are no cops around, they are set to ignore CJ, or the wanted level is disabled. Sometimes an arrest can substitute for the death and fail the mission, but it's usually easier to plan on a suicide device so this is often the recommended method. Â The AP Vortex is more fun in traffic, but everyone should drive a Vortex up Mt Chiliad at least once, and try to fly it as far as possible. I usually try to find a good bump heading north rather than use the ramp at the lookout point. Most of the time when I driving a Vortex I'm using it as a submarine. Â The Tenpenny's truck really isn't all that difficult - it's the kind of thing a player could get really good at and nab almost every time. There's not a lot of random luck involved; it's mostly skill based. Â IIRC, you are using a wiki guide, and that guide doesn't mention any of the 6 FI vehicles that can be obtained from the girlfriends: Hustler, Romero, Monster, Police Ranger, Bandito, and a pink Feltzer (instead of a club, for some odd reason). These vehicles are tricky as you can collect many of them at any time, but you need to start planning for it right from the start. Does the wiki mention that there are 3 additional save garage slots at each of the three impound lots? Â You should collect all available vehicles and discard your least favorite to make room for more useless vehicles. You probably won't remember using many of these vehicles; the value is in the memory of the collection. Â Okay, time for some hardware repairs to my computer. Hopefully I won't be offline for few days. Lethal Vaccine
Lethal Vaccine
Thanks for that info about why some vehicles require a death. I didn't know that... Â Well, I am glad I got the AP Vortex then, cuz I will have some fun with it for sure! Â Well...I couldn't do it. I am very bad with the camera and tbh, I couldn't even get the Feltzer down the first hill after the cutscene...It was that bad...I also couldn't get the Greenwood cuz it didn't allow me an option to go back, and I already obtained the AP Feltzer during the final two cut scenes, so I couldn't go back before going into the Crack Palace to try and obtain the AP Greenwood. And yesterday, I was getting optimistic that I would obtain it including the Fire Truck. But yeah...No luck at all, I moved on. I passed the mission and then did 100 Spray Tags. Tomorrow I will do 50 Horseshoes and 50 Snapshots. On another day, I will do 50 Oysters. I am basically working toward 100% Completion at this point as I got all the vehicles I can get except the jealous girlfriend's vehicles, but I highly doubt I can get it to work as I didn't date any of the girls at all. Not Denise, not the other girl with the keycard for "Robbing the Bank at Caligula's" or whatever it was called. Nobody...Plus, I haven't a clue as to how it works, what to do, and what not to to... Â I believe the Wiki mentions the impound lots, but not the Girlfriend Cars...But still, like you said, I always heard this is difficult to do, and if I can't obtain some of these vehicles from missions, I'd probably have trouble with that two time dating stuff or whatever... Â Yeah, you know what, you're spot on. The value of the collection is the memory you got from obtaining it. Each vehicle has a story, essentially. That is why I do it, other than the fact it's fun, and I feel great when I can obtain such vehicles. SA appears to be by far the hardest game to obtain such vehicles. I am glad I am getting this game out of the way first, before moving on to GTA III and Vice City. It'll be my second playthrough on those games as well, and will of course obtain the proof vehicles in those games. In my GTA III save currently, I have the BP Patriot, BP Barracks OL, and AP Cheetah. The Cheetah originally was BP/FP/EP, but I used the Crusher Glitch to make it DP as well, so now it's Full Immune, or AP (All Proof). However, this time around I want four other vehicles besides those 3. I want the AP Stretch, BP/FP/EP Bobcat, BP/FP Trashmaster, BF/FP Securicar. In my Vice City save, I don't have much, but I do have the better of the proof vehicles, like the AP Admiral and BP/FP/EP Sabre Turbo. I also got some unique colored vehicles, and the Love Fist Limo, etc...And after all that is said and done, I will do LCS and VCS as well, cuz I can play them on my PS3 as I have the PS2 disc and my PS3 is backward compatible! However, in LCS, I have a wicked save as of now. I got 5 AP vehicles, lol. AP Cheetah, AP Stinger, AP Banshee, AP BF Injection, and AP Patriot. Plus a Rhino Tank and some fast cars near my safehouses that always spawn. In VCS, however, I got dick. I need to replay to obtain the AP Sentinel XS for the most part, and a couple other vehicles as well, but not many. I went off topic, but it's nice to speak about proof vehicles with someone who enjoys it as well. This is a great hobby, imo...
OrionSR
The technical reason for a required death (or arrest) for some vehicles is it's the only way to fail the mission. Sometimes you can't kill Sweet, run away, wait, or even destroy the vehicle, but most (all?) missions have a busted/wasted check that jumps to the mission failed part of the script - so if all else fails... Vehicle collectors are always looking for ways to progress methods from coding > cheats > deaths and arrests > mission failure > no adverse stats, or whatever. Â I'm still testing new hardware, so I'd better post and update in case of a crash. Â Well, your struggles with the camera are not unexpected. But it sounds like you are in a good place to practice for a while and then run off to make some progress before the frustration gets overwhelming. You are learning a completely new skill. Give your brain and fingers a while to sync up with what you see. I found this to be one of those tasks that was a little easier after a good night's sleep. Â New memory installed - so far so good. Â If you've done absolutely nothing with the girlfriends then you might have a chance at getting some of their cars. Denise might not still be around though. Millie will be required for 100% so you'll need to consider this soon. First you need to find out if the two-timing scripts are still active. Make sure you can start a date with both Denise and Millie, but load without making any progress. If Denise insists on dumping CJ there isn't much you can do about it other than to meet a 2nd girlfriend. Go on a date with either girl, it should be a food date, it doesn't matter if they like the food yet. Shortly after the return home phase of the date begins there's a 50/50 chance a jealous girlfriend will appear. Try at least a half dozen times; random can be pretty streaky sometimes. Space Cowboy
Just a little thing related to the girlfriends' cars: I find it convenient to keep 2 girlfriends active during my task of getting all of them. I usually keep Denise active and the other girlfriend is either Katie, Barbara or Helena. Once I obtain the first vehicle, I kill the girlfriend (either Katie, Barbara or Helena; depending on which one I have active at the moment) and then I go and meet another girlfriend out of these 3; and then I do the same- obtain girlfriends' vehicle and then kill her. If you want to collect them all, this will save you a lot of time.  Once I have Katie's Romero, Barbara's Rancher, and Helena's Bandito, I usually have only Denise and Mille active- I get the Feltzer afterwards and then I'll remeet all of the girlfriends which have been killed.  -Katie, Barbara and Helena can be reacquired after they've been killed. They will respawn at the same location where you met them for the first time. -Denise and Mille will not respawn since they have been acquired during the story, thus I advise you to keep them alive unless you don't want their vehicles  Also if you want you can check your jealous girlfriends' scripts with a trainer. But I assume that this is already explained in the links which Orion posted. Lethal Vaccine and Norsea
OrionSR
Also if you want you can check your jealous girlfriends' scripts with a trainer. But I assume that this is already explained in the links which Orion posted. Actually, I kinda brushed over the bit about verifying the two-timing flag with external tools as Militia is playing on a backwards compatible PS3, and I forget which disc version is being used. It should be possible but it's rather complicated. Â The player needs to figure out how to copy saves to a computer. I don't know how to do this on PS3s. The BC-PS3 saves are not encrypted, but have metafile information attached that prevents modification. The metafile information needs to be trimmed so just the save can be examined - there's a tool for that though. The Savegame Editor 3.x that can easily check this flag on PC probably won't work right on PS2 saves. V1 maybe, but not v2 (global variables are different). SASE v1.00 (the Japanese editor) can still read the variables but the player needs a little technical information to find and understand it - confusing at first. Or we could skip all that nonsense in the middle for a while. Figure out how to get your save online and I'll take a look at it. Â Learning how the girlfriend scripts work is required for the collection anyway so I opted for a more virtual-world approach. Many collectors have no choice other than to start a new game with a specific plan to work on the GF vehicles, so they have a lot of time to read up on things and plan their backup saves to make sure nothing goes wrong. Â The big trick to the girlfriend cars is that one normal date will disable the two-timing scripts forever. If you want to keep them active CJ needs to get caught by the 50/50 jealous girlfriend after every date. The trick works when CJ gets caught by the jealous girlfriend just after taking the dated girl home. You end up with two dating scripts running at the same time, one with a jealous girlfriend in a proofed car for a cut-scene, and another with the dated girl saying goodnight or inviting for coffee. When the dated girl's script ends, usually by accepting or declining coffee, it breaks the two-timing script and leaves the jealous girlfriend nearby with her still fully immune vehicle. Â Then you get back to more normal collection methods like trying to coax a girl out of her unjackable (CJ won't even go for the handles), indestructible (except by parachute) vehicle or tow it to a garage and let the doors close without her driving it back out again. This challenge is even more interesting when completed at the beginning of the game when Katie, Michelle, and Barbara can be met in restricted areas. Lethal Vaccine
Well, I am f*cked I guess as I killed Millie instantly to get her keycard for the one mission in Las Venturas "Robbing the Bank at Caligula's" or whatever it was called...Something like that, though. Â Either way this two time dating stuff confuses the hell out of me and I doubt I could get any of the girlfriend vehicles. However, I am not worried and am proud of my collection and save. Â 23 proof vehicles. 16 of these 23 are completely FI (Full Immune), CP (Comprehensive Proof), or AP (All Proof) - Whatever floats your boat as people call them all different. I like to say AP vehicles. But yeah, I got 16 AP vehicles. Then I got 7 other proof vehicles. Well just view my list in the original post. I edited it and made my final list that I have obtained. I am damn proud as I only had 5 proof vehicles on my save from 2007. 7 years later in 2014, I nearly got 5x the amount. Â Not only did I get these vehicles, I also got 100% Gang Territories which in 2007 I only had about 30-35%. I also got GOLD in Driving School and Flying School. I'll get GOLD in Boat and Bike School, too. Â All in all I am proud and think my save is absolutely amazing. Maybe years later on another playthrough of SA I will be able to obtain some of the vehicles that I had trouble with this time around. I can also get some that I completely skipped like the AP motorcycles and BP/FP Tahoma, BP/FP Voodoo, BP/FP Greenwood, DP/EP/FP/MP LSPD Police Car, and AP Bravura. OrionSR
You killed Millie? This is sad news, but it probably didn't influence your chances of getting proofed vehicles from other girlfriends. I get the impression that you aren't really interested in these vehicles, so I'll let that drop. Killing Millie however,... gives me an excuse to give you a hard time. Millie is a great girlfriend. I probably have more fun with Katie but she's kind of creepy. I suppose reposting my usual Millie obituary would be too far of topic so I'll look for a link instead.  R.I.P. Millie Perkins  You should be proud of your collection, unless you blow off the FI Firetruck. Don't give up on it. You'll regret it for years. I'm still frustrated that I never finished mission 34 in Gran Turismo 4; I don't give up easily. And don't worry about all this talk about vehicles you missed. You've got the current active vehicle collection topic so people are bound to offer opinions on all sorts of vehicles. This is not a criticism of your collection; it's the mark of a good topic.  I've been using FI recently as a sign of respect to the vehicle collector community at GTA.ru. They've pioneered most of the recent work on new collections, including the Bravura, Firetruck, and I believe the LSDP and Sultan, but I haven't messed around with these. Lethal Vaccine
Yes, she is dead. Btw, doesn't Millie drive the AP Feltzer? I don't need that as I have the AP Feltzer already from End of the Line mission. Â I "am" interested in the girlfriend vehicles but this stuff makes 0 sense to me. Idk even how to meet Katie, Barbera, etc...And Denise is below 1%. In fact, her relationship status doesn't even show in my Pause menu anymore. However, I see the heart on my map in Los Santos with that red mission marker. But yeah, very confusing this stuff... Â I mean, I have my save backed up on a USB and can still go back to getting the AP Fire Truck, however currently I moved on and am working on collectables and already passed End of the Line... Â AP Sultan? Doesn't the AP Sultan and AP Packer require cheat codes? It says this on GTA Wiki that these require cheats. Even on Youtube people use ONE cheat to obtain both. They put the AP Packer in the Impound and the AP Sultan in their garage. I don't use cheats and never will, though.
Aintgottime2bleed
You dont know sh*t but you completed all gta since 3 till 100% ? u used a 100% save download i guess. You dont need cheats although you must kill all enemies that follow you on bike/car with headshots and within 5 seconds when they appear on your screen. If u miss a bullet u failed. So try mission with 100% accuracy and 100% headshots + kill them within 5 seconds. If all done right big smoke will say, all you have to do is hijack that packer. Now press x o o x left right left and you will get alternative cutscene were cj hijack the packer and 2 sultans only problem is that big smoke wants a sultan to so you have to give him 1 else its mission failed. Lethal Vaccine
...Why would I download a save? Where did you come up with this? Utter nonsense right here. Â And what you said doesn't make sense to me. Never heard this before. Â I will listen to OrionSR as he's a more credible source and can speak grammatically correct... Â Downloading a save is useless. Not many people obtain these cars without cheats and put their save up for download. Plus I am playing PS2 GTA's on my backward compatible PS3 which has a different file extension than the actual PS2 games on a Memory Card for PS2. By the looks up it, people are playing PC or have a PS2 still playing it on there. Nobody is playing it on a PS3 like me. So no...There is no save. Â I just want to know how you arrived at your conclusion that I downloaded a save?! Stop spewing bullsh*t from your mouth as you don't make sense and have wild accusations. Â Also, who can't get to 100%? That's the easy part. Obtaining such vehicles is the hard part. I've got to 100% in all the PS2 era games back in 2007 and just recently 100%'ed LCS and VCS. However, I am going back and re-doing all 5 PS2 era GTA games and obtaining ALL or MOST of the proof vehicles that I can obtain. Aintgottime2bleed
Infact theres a 100% savefile for gta sa ps3 download if im right, so yes there is a save. Theres a topic with all proofed vehicles listed and how to obtain. Only very few not obtained like the helicopter from up up and away. To me it makes no sense that u legit got all gta since 3 completed for 100% while not knowing these things. Its all possible ofcourse but i doubt it. You also mentioned the year 2007 and since sa is from 2004 u are pretty late which let me think you played gta3 etc. after sa. So i dont believe the 100% story. Put you psn here so i can see if you got gta 4 and 5 100%. If you have ill still not believe u got gta3 till 4 100% but then atleast its easier to believe you. If i get u right u saying u got all gold medals now ( school ) but didnt in 2007 so how u got 100% then ?.
Lethal Vaccine
Ok. Ignoring your comments now. What a fool... Â What matters if you believe me or not? I could careless, so I am done replying to you now. Â Also, not all the proof vehicles in SA were found in 2004 you dumbass. It took years after the game's release to find them all. As most of them were obtainable only with cheats. Same with GTA III and all the other games. There was a time that the AP Stretch for instance in GTA III was said to be only acquired with cheats, and now look, you can glitch into the wall and store it in Portland, Staunton Island, or Shoreside Vale. Â Anyways, what the hell does 100% have anything to do with proof vehicles? As I said above, 100% is EASY, obtaining vehicles is HARDER. Â The thought never deemed on you that I am REPLAYING these games to 100% and obtaining the vehicles in 2014? Back in 2007 I only got to 100% with a few proof vehicles, like the BP Barracks OL, BP Patriot, and BP/FP/EP Cheetah (which I used the Crusher Glitch to make it DP) so now it's an AP Cheetah in GTA III, and I could go on...But I won't cuz I don't have to justify myself to some idiot on the Internet that seems a bit delusional. Â Not possible? Are you literally mentally challenged? When did I join this forum? Not even 1 year ago. In fact, never knew this site existed until 2013...So what does that tell you? I DIDN'T USE ANY WALKTHROUGH IN THE PAST, hence why I don't have such vehicles and am replaying these games now and obtaining them.....This forum is filled with a lot of fools. That is very clear to me. Â But yeah, you're a dumb f*ck, only Bronze Medals count in the GTA SA Schools for 100%. Just like Gang Wars do NOT count toward 100% but I did them anyways and have 100% Territory Under Control. Or did you forget since you're so knowledgeable why did you not know this? Dumb f*ck... chrisscorsese88
Haha sad excuse, im not buying it. Completing gta sa is so easy, u needed 3years to get it ( 2004 till 2007 ) I never completed any gta 100% and im not saying i have and i dont know how to get 100% ( whats needed ) When did i join gtaforums ???????????? what does that say ?. You simply dont have 100%. You really dont know where u talking about. Â Why are you determined to derail a perfectly good thread? Please stop with all the hate comments, if you have a problem with someone, take it to PM before a mod decides to ban you.
