Tanks. They're such a pain in the a** to deal with, mostly because you have to get out of your way to do something. BUT, whenever I get a jet, they either get killed and leave or leave out of boredom

I voted crew attack, but it needs to be more than 2 vs 1. It's not to hard to hold your own against two people, but when you have 6 or more from the same crew after one guy, that's too much. I understand that some may enjoy the challenge, but I myself do not, so that's why I picked this one as my choice.

Griefing is griefing but I voted Jets just because they're the hardest to counter when in competent hands, often flying to Zancudo any time someone tries to grab a jet and killing them before they get off the ground. Honestly though none of these are as bad as wall-breaching with a bounty or other such cheating (modders trolling people with god mode for example, now that really is just pathetic).

thats what happens when you piss off the people in that particular crew.

I experienced my first Madrazo griefing yesterday. The loading screen after RR, I saw the 3 cars (Google like view). I heard about this type of griefing so I was prepared. Saw a guy on some hill with a good distance in front me . So I aimed at the guy (autoaim FTW) and took his bitch ass out. He spawned a couple houses down to me (my car was under 2 other cars. I saw he took cover behind a wall, and I fired my RPG at him, took his bitch ass out again. Blew up three cars and the bitch left the lobby.

No bulletproof-rear-reversing-car option? Personally I blow up whatever asswad tries this on me and live with the insurance bill, but most people don't like blowing up PVs and tend to get owned by people who do this.

Edit: On topic, I would say tank griefing. In freeroam yesterday, a guy followed me so I killed him. I then killed him a few more times, then left the area. He eventually comes back with a tank. I head over to Fort Zancudo to pick up a jet fighter. He messages me, "What's the matter? Can't handle a tank fa**ot?" As I'm on my way back to the city with the jet fighter, the kill feed literally doesn't stop with the messages "t4nkgri3f3r has killed xxxxxxx." I destroy his tank a few times with the jet fighter before he leaves. The tank is OP and requires no skill at all, and most players don't know how to deal with tanks so they just get their ass handed to them. It really pisses me off that the guy killed innocent people because he was mad at ME. The guy also couldn't handle a conventional 1v1 so he gets a tank, which is one of the most annoying things about fighting people in GTA Online.

I can see that happening. But every time that it's happened to me I've been off at a random part of the map by myself minding my own business, and they move to where I am and swarm attack me.

i see it happen every day. one guy hits one of us with a car, and the next thing you know like... 8 people (3 of them in tanks) are ripping the whole lobby a new one.

i voted for tanks... i mean they take no skill to grief with that.

-jets it takes some skill to grief with that.

-lsc camping, dont visit the main lsc in vinewood and you should be safe.

-sniping from rooftops, that take some skill and timing.

-killing afk players, its their fault.

-ganging again other players its not griefing as there is passive mode.

-riot van can be destroyed with ease.

-mission camping, never seen that before.

While most of those qualify as "general douchebaggery," they don't rise to the level of "griefing." Camping LSC - maybe - because there's that brief moment you come out of the garage that you can't fight back. But everything else on your list is avoidable. Heck, if everyone would just vote to kick the tank "griefer," the problem would be solved.

Crew attacks in my opinion, but I don't really class it as griefing. I can hold out against 2 going against me, but when I encounter a group of 7 going after me for no good reason, it just gets ridiculous and I head to my apartment on Alta St to wait for them to get bored and leave.

The others I can offer some tips on (YMMV, but they work well for me.):

  • Head up north as fast as you can if you run into a tank, rarely will they follow you over to the Vinewood Hills and beyond, there's very little chance a tank will navigate those twisty roads to get to you. However, I do see the problem with tank griefing and can agree that it can be a huge pain in the arse if you can't get away from them in time.
  • Jets can be a pain to deal with, but I've found going into tunnels like the one over by the Del Perro Beach will give you some protection from those buggers. It also takes skills relatively few players have and is a rarity for me to encounter.
  • Getting camped at LSC? Don't go to the one downtown while there's a ton of players over there and you won't have that problem. There's others on the map for a reason.
  • Rooftop snipers can be fixed with Off the Radar and a nice airstrike at the base of their perch. Protip: Get a friend to draw their fire and move in for the airstrike.
  • If you're going AFK, go back to your property or into a nearby store and put passive mode on.
  • Can't say I've encountered Riot Van griefers, so I don't really have a thought on that, but explosives can help.
  • Millionaire griefing is a right pain, but I just leave if they set a bounty on me. I will fight off the muggers and mercs once or twice and then leave if I encounter them again though.

However, there are forms of griefing that are missing here, like garage killing, camping Martin's house, and using a car with a bulletproof back window to reverse and shoot up players.

None of the above. Apartment and import garage greifing is probably the lowest of low. I guess some people have nothing better to do than sit around waiting to kill someone minding their own business.

On another note, AFK players get what they deserve. Should have switched to passive or stay in their apartment beforehand.

Tanks are a lot worse but lsc camping is more common and a really cheap way to get kills.Jets take a lot of skill to be effective so I wouldn't say they're a problem.Just hit the jet with 7 or 8 sniper shots and it's down.
