New Game Mode Ideas

I'd like more options while playing online.

 

I like captures a lot. It adds a bit of suspense, and you can't just rush in every time.

I think missions are boring now, very tedious gameplay.

Do not like deathmatches at all. Very bland.

Love races. Always have.

I wish they would have kept my favorite game mode, Cops N Crooks.

So what do you think would be a cool game mode to play? Or even options for free mode?

Last Man Standing

 

Like Last team standing, but in a death match, winner is the last player alive, the mode would be like Battle Royale as in if you go a certain distance from a set area you die.

Safe House

 

Inspired by Cops n Crooks and Witness Protection from GTA IV and The Lost and Damned, One player spawns in the prison as a 'witness', one team has to get him to a choice of random safe houses around the map, whilst the other team of bikers / gangbangers have to try an eliminate the 'witness' before he gets to the safehouse. A bit like the mission Welcoming Party, but having the witness played by an actual player and not a stupid NPC would make it a lot of fun.

Shipwreck

 

Two teams compete using submarines, boats and scuba diving equipment to recover random spawning treasures from the various shipwrecks around Los Santos, sharks, pirates and eachother get in the way though. A bit like capture, but involving boats and diving!

Two - four teams spawn in Los Santos and receive calls from Trevor to carry out numerous , random spawning jobs, like Team Mafia Work was in GTA IV, the jobs range from the insane like picking up Mr Raspberry Jam, to the damn right crazy as in stealing a tank from Zancudo, the team that has generated the most ingame cash at the end of the timer, gets to keep all the $ and has the most RP.

I agree, the game is lacking game modes. There's so few "fun" game modes. Top Fun is probably the most fun I've had in GTA V but it can't compare to the rush of Cops N Crooks or even a chilled mission like Deal Breaker. While there was way less game modes in GTA IV to do, I don't feel GTA V has any that stand out as much as Cops N Crooks or Bomb Da Base II.

The trouble is nothing is random enough in GTAO, every mode has too much repetitiveness about it.

I wonder if R* notices this and will release more game modes along with the heists. But knowing how they operate, we'll get new game modes next year (literally)

I really want a Mafiya Work type game mode like there was back in GTA 4. I've earned something like $18M from that game mode in the GTA 4 days. Oh how I miss doing that...
