How to make Survival more interesting

  • MVP players
  • Player with the most kills at the end of each round gets $1000
  • Player with the most kills end game gets an extra $20k
  • People who haven't contributed anything get kicked out automatically

 

That's about all I have so far

Implying that most kills means something in survival...if you get the most kills every round and then die, leaving me to finish, then your most kills means absolutely nothing

Just double the payout, really.
That or let us steal NPC cars more often and use them as portable cover. That still happens sometimes especially at the base of the pier.

Gang survivals i.e. fight off ballas, vagos, marabunta grande.

 

Also increase the payout, 20k is not worth the time and blood spilled.

Raise the payout for completing all ten waves to at least $50k. That would make survival worth playing.

I disagree with that get kicked automatically part, I was playing with this guy the other day and he just kept kill hoggin and dying. He wouldn't even go for cover when the helis spawned. If you play a survival solo, you only get one life, you die once and the survival is over. So, why do people think it's okay to kill hog and die the whole ten waves of survival?

That is correct sir. The enemies have guns and as a challenge, I do not. It is tremendous fun and helps to hone in my bad-assness

Sometimes the most useful player is the strategic bloke who uses cover, doesn't get so many NPC's in his sights, but is left alive at the end and completes the wave for the team. Also whoever drops the chopper has done the team a great service. Maybe also include awards for finishing waves alone and heli kills?

These would also make soloing survival very lucrative / tempting :-)

They should make it once you reach wave 10 you get 50k and get 5k for each wave passed after wave 10(Gradually + 1k).To cooperate with the idea they should do a boss fight on every single 10th wave you cleared for 30k such as enemies in bomb disposal suits at wave 30,buzzard only at wave 50,rpg only weapon at wave 70 and 3 tanks at wave 100(2 stinger pickups).If all 6(i had to increase the person count if you want to survive 100 waves right?)person survived to wave 100 they will get 12mil grand prize(+1 mil for the last surviving teammate).

But hey if you survived for hours you will master the combat section of the game.And my idea is giving out 5k+1k per wave completed so how is that not good.

Add bosses, like a juggernaut armored motherf*cker, that steps into the battlefield. I'm talking about the exact same suit that's in the Paleto Bay Heist.

Making survival like it was on release would be a start. they are so worried about it better fair and not to easy that they went took all the fun out.

maybe even make a survival creator.

 

as much as i hate custom crap that sounds like a good idea

I would just like some new Survival options actually. Right now I use Boneyard for leveling up and earning cash since that one is super easy to complete alone and I've also gotten through all the others at least once with some other players, so it'd be nice to see some new ones added. Survival creator sounds pretty great, but I don't know what kind of options you'd have other than location, the way the npcs look and I guess weapon location?

The player with the most kills usually left his post and exposed his 2 buddies flanks! He should be hung and stripped of any earnings not rewarded.

 

Sometimes the guy covering the back in boneyard may only get a couple of kills but he keeps choppers and trucks off other players

 

OP is what is wrong with Survivor

As for freezing,I never froze in a survival before,only in free roam lobbies.One of the weirder situation was during the server hiccup,which caused my friend to leave and then spawn in on the next wave and disappearing again.He never reappeared after wave 7 so i guess he died.

I'm ok with 100 waves, but have a cash out option that the team votes for every wave.

Push to 100 and you earn a good chunk of dough. Die and you lose it all.

 

Risk vs reward, very important. And it provides a money sink for greedy players.

Would be nice but is never going to happen. All user created Survivals would be bottlenecks slaughtershoots with alot of cover.

Just see what happned at Boneyard and the rooftop. Perfect hidingspot that got removed (out of bounds).

Survival is a team game, so none of these would work.

 

Also, if you have a reward for more kills, people will just be greedy and try to get them all, which will result in them dying, which will result in one or two players being left alone.

That makes no sense...but yeah, you go and do your undisciplined commando routine and get yourself killed, and therefore USELESS...make sure you steal a health pack and body armor from a player that actually takes advantage of it too, ok?

Enemies in the first wave are weaklings. They can be KO'd in one punch. If you are savy enough, you can melee everyone in the first wave without taking any damage.
