Cannot pick up container.

I was trying to pick up the container and move it out from under the bridge so I could get it with a cargo bob. The container truck simply will not pick it up. Is this mission broken?

 

I was with 2 other guys and they could not get it either and just quit. I attempted two more times myself and still wasn't able to.I positioned the truck right in front of it and all that. Is there something I'm missing here?

D pad right and joystick up! Never had that happen, are you sure your centered on the container?

You have to lower the thing that picks up the container and then press right button to attach it.

 

Would be good if you actually said which mission you're having problem with though.

I assume Docks to Stocks, 1 or 2

Yeah I destroyed the container just by tapping it so many times lol. Right on the dpad and you'll hear a click if it's aligned properly.

Ahh the d-pad. I tried every other button but that.

The game itself tells you what to do , how can you not see the big black notice box in the corner of the screen telling you how to pick it up , its dumbasses like you that make me do missions alone or with crew/friends only

It's dumbasses like you that jump to conclusions without facts. There was no black box telling me what to do, hence the reason i did not know HOW to do it and neither did the other people doing the mission with me. None of us were given instructions. A bug, maybe?
