All of the sticky bombs!

So while pondering the question "what's left to do in gtao" I came up with another. What if you managed to get a full lobby of nonassholes, and had each person throw 5 stickies on the same car? That's 80 stickies. I imagine it would look like Christmas lights and sound pretty weird too. But I'm also wondering how the inevitable explosion would compare to just a couple. Theoretically, it should be pretty massive. But realistically, it might only be the same as a few. Maybe if I had 14 other friends I could figure it out.

The explosion would probably look glitchy and laggy. Vanoss sort of did this in a video a couple of months ago in a pool.

I thought that explosions don't become larger if you put multiple sticky bombs on the same car, but if you get 80 vehicles and put one sticky bomb on each you would get a much larger explosion.

True, GTA0 needs more stress testing. I don't think we have determined the limits of GTA0 performance yet.

I don't know about this but if by chance you gathered up 80 cars and laced each car up with a stickie, would cars start to despawn? Or does the stickie save it?

 

Also would such a blast cause a larger blast radius or would it just be like 80 separate explosions so you can stand right next to it?

the other day i did rooftop rumble and didnt have my car after grabbing the documents the 2 randoms left me. so i stuck around and killed the 4 suvs that come than punched some npcs before calling my car. The whole time i saw the two dots together near the main lsc. on my way by i stopped to see what they were doing. The stopped about 50+ cars on the interstate under that bridge. I pulled out my rpg and shot the middle of the huge pile up. The explosion was insane

I bet it would be funny as hell to look at it, but most probably the game would fail to render that many stickies in the same place, ie. on your screen some of them wouldn't be visible.

GTA was always about having fun using your imagination and by screwing around. It's not new to GTA:O, in fact it's even more fun because you can do it with other players.

every time people get together and attempted to have some fun the game will freeze. my crew tried taking a photo with everybody in their tank. we make it to 6-8 tanks in one lobby before everyone gets frozen.

a few updates back me and some friends did this

though it was only four of us we almost managed to launch a car in to the atmosphere

so should be interesting to see what happens when you did it with a full lobby

Don't the vehicles despawn after you get about 3+ of them together?
