Captain Revenge
When i play RR solo it costs me $150 in Combat MG bullets and $200 for my Buzzard. In Trash talk it's only the $200 for the Buzzard, no bullets needed.I played a RR mission with 2 others recently, they called in Merryweather for $1000 and fired at least 4 RPG's at $500 a piece, effectively taking $3000 off the big cash prize u get at the end. How much do you pay in ammo overhead costs and for what missions? Are u a strategist when it comes to missions, or do u just go in guns blazing and hope their all dead? I almost never go into a mission the way R* wants me too, like using the Buzzard in Trash Talk.
ashbashbluesfan
I try to avoid expensive explosives unless necessary, I generally use my gusenberg, special carbine, combat mg and heavy sniper, gets the job done well and efficiently. Buzzards and tanks are excellent, only $200 and makes any mission easy.

Linkangel
Maybe I'm a dick but I let other people waste their rockets if they want. I use a combat and or assault shotgun when I solo or group. Edited April 28, 2014 by Linkangel Alex Wesker and jtet37

cswood
Are people really that tight to add up what they use on missions haha , really sad if you ask me If you're playing legit and you're saving up to buy something, yes. A few months ago after I reached 120 rank and had all the stuff I wanted I was throwing stickys and RPG's left and right because I didn't care, but when I heard about the new updates and decided to start farming cash I began to notice just how much using all those stickes and RPGs cost to replace (plus I blew car up more than a few times by accident thanks to poor sticky throwing). So yeah, now I pretty much restrict myself to bullets unless absolutely necessary and use a buzzard whenever possible to cut down on overhead costs. Now I rake in more money and I blow up my car a lot less. Win WIn. Captain Revenge
kollow
I don't know about anyone else, but I rarely purchase ammo. It's really a waste of money when almost all enemies drop a clip or two when they are killed. I might occasionally buy armor for a mission I haven't done before, but for the most part I never spend money in missions.
Cudwieser
depending on mood I've gone from £200-£300 on RR to £5000. Even then if all you use is the combat MG then £2000 to £3000 every 20-30 games (if not more) is very achievable due to good shooting, fast driving, and big ammo clips. With team work you can halve, third or quarter the overall burden and extend the range between refills (double, triple or quadruple the range) if everyone sticks to bullets and driving (no merry weather heroics although an extra £200 isn't much of an extra burden). Ballistic Jello
Well, I have over 1.000.000$, so RPG rockets are not a problem for me. Lol. That's cute bud. OP, it kinda depends. Sometimes in a annoying mission I'll use 10 RPGs just to expedite things, or in a PvP session if provoked. The majority of the time I'll use assault rifles, combat mg for early survival waves, and assault shotgun for RR clearing. This keeps ammo costs down so I can blow sh*t up when actually needed without feeling the pain. Captain Revenge
JC Hammer
If someone starts using explosives anywhere near the objective, I just step back and let them go! RR is like shooting fish in a barrel but DB's will still jeopardize the mission by bombing the whole garage. I guess it's about getting all the RP. solo, I think Coveted has the lowest overhead 5 sniper bullets and a shotgun shell

Cudwieser
Jcph: a well placed grenade and rocket in the parking lot isn't going to kill the documents. Just go to the side of the lot with the hedge, Aim at the gauntlet and let rip. Change to the MG or put a rocket to the granger at the very back. Take out the MG now if you haven't done so already and kill the guys next to the fugitive nearest you to drop the docs. Finally (or initially as this can be done as part of a sweep) grenade or rocket the fugitive near the front entrance closest to you. You should have two pro's left to easily pick off. coelacanth72
Doing RR I'm grinding, so I conserve ammo. Usually 50 rounds or so from the combat MG, somewhere around that with the AP pistol, no explosives. When I'm actually doing missions for fun then I fire away, whatever sounds the most entertaining. I'm a big fan of the grenade launcher, which at $250 a shot is pretty frugal anyway.
garyharry
tend not to buy ammo unless all my MG's or assault rifles are out. Never use chopper for missions, bit of a cop out and for RR, i can complete it in a few minutes anyway by just driving to the end. more capital in, no cheating
Captain Revenge
bunch of cheap asses counting ammo costs Its called efficiency, I know that's a big word for u junior, look it up. I currently have 17.3 mil and i still take on the mission solo with precision. I purchase all ammo before each mission and own all weapons. My Combat MG gets me my kills and at least 8 head shots for my stats. My Buzzard takes out the 4 SUV's that finish then i high speed low altitude back to Martins. jtet37
K guys, some tips for those looking for max profit, first is the best DO NOT shoot the goons....seriously. Walk up to them w gun in hand, and pistol whip them. Right in the face. All of them. They will do nothing until a gun is fired. Or are otherwise startled.....which is hard to do, i was showing this to some friends that were skeptical, and i accidentally ran into one knocking him to the ground, so i just waited till he stood up, and broke his eye socket in front of him and 3 other dudes. They did nothing. Goons dead, documents dropped, w not a penny lost for ammo. Seriously. SERIOUSLY. Now be aware the suvs only come when the bag man hits triangle to hop in a car. I bet you could run all the way to Martins, but thats no fun. Use this time, if needed, to decide how to get there.....call in a heli, call mechanic for a fast car, etc. Any decently fast car (sports/supers esp) w a competent driver can make there no problem. I personally have never failed or been killed, nor have seen anyone else, unless the car was slow and the driver got it stuck in a tree or something...... I never felt the need to call in a heli and blow 1k. Also not sure why someone would call for pegasus heli whent the time spent driving to it could be spent driving north. Ive also been in quite a few missions where the carrier would tap triangle to call out the suvs, with everyone ready n waiting on foot, and take down the suvs when they come. I have no strong opinion on this method, its effective, but it takes an extra minute or two. I use mainly auto shotty, maybe auto pistol and/or a rifle. No need for grenades/rpgs/expensive artillery, they only increase the odds of blowing up the documents. Also note that during the mission, you cannot get a wanted level, so have some fun if you want, rob stores, attack the gsf and ballas, etc......not sure if the army base can entered. If im not in the delivery car, i love to drive up n down the canal, using the sides as ramps, jumpin over the train bridge and thru the trusses of the road bridge. Make a nice car ugly real quick. JiNX77
Takes money to make money, overhead operating costs are just a part of the deal. I don't consider it a big deal to spend $1000 on MW pickup, I can call in 19 of them for the 2 mins it takes to do RR. The first run is usually a wash for me anyway after spending $15-20K to replace ammo from free roam shenanigans. Usually I just use cheap pistol or carbine ammo but RR is so boring some explosions from time to time liven the place up a little.

Ya but your exposed to fire from the guys by the bikes, I strive for that perfect Coveted run everytime, so I dont want to take 1 hit. You use to be able to melee the guy on the hill but now when I do it alerts the 2 guys by the container and the come after you.
