... and not come back on until you join a new session - usually happens after I join free mode from a mission, stupid R* devs. Not an issue with my controller

if it usually happens right after being dropped into free mode IN YOUR CAR, the vibrating is from the car starting up. i would lay my controller down on the table when switching servers and it would start going crazy, but i realized that it was the engine coming on.
