Argument for Tanks

Hopefully this can be a permanent tank discussion thread. I am for tanks.

 

Argument: Tanks are bad and all player who use them are griefers.

 

My position: Deal with it. Not every tank user is a twanker. I use mine mostly for cop fun. I will only bring it out if I get spawn killed too many times or there is a twanker. After it goes into the ocean.

 

Statement: Tanks dont pay insurance so people use them to grief.

 

Rebuttal: Rockstar made it so stationary tanks dont pay insurance because in the early days people would grief a tank user by running thier expensive cars into a tank. Thus giving them bad sport and costing money simply for being in a tank.

 

Statement: Rockstar protects twankers

 

Rebuttal: See above

 

Statement: Tanks are OP

 

Rebuttal: Well yes they kind of are but at 1.25 mill they should be. If there wasnt modded money or buy anything with website glitch it would be more balanced.

 

Statement: Tanks cant be jacked in passive mode protecting tank drivers

 

Rebuttal: Its called PASSIVE Meaning no aggressive actions. Climbing a tank busting the hatch open and ripping a guy out isnt PASSIVE

 

And as always you can avoid a tank by leaving the session or steering clear of it
