R* are finally reseting RP

Over the past few day's I've seen a few people at rank 1. A lot of them have their stats maxed out, such as, shooting and driving etcetera, so it's obvious they weren't new to the game. So I assume they have been de-ranked for RP glitching.

That happens when you're joining a lobby.

The OP is lying R* would announce when they are going to do the sweep because they would have to shut down GTAO to do it just as they did with the money sweep.

 

But i've been waiting for them to do this for a long time.

 

My 1st char i made is a rank 838 and i want him to go back to rank 132 like it was before my BIL used a DNS to screw around and because of him i stopped using that char and i had to start all over again and i finally get everything with my 2nd char and now they finally do the reboot.

If you grinded short legitimate missions or otherwise gained a small amount of RP without modding, your RP should not be affected by this correction.
• We’ll be fixing the issue where players who had upgraded personal vehicles prior to Title Update 1.10 were only able to sell them for $10,000.

RP is only getting reset to people who have modded the game and messed around with their DNS settings. Also its obvious who has been glitching RP and who hasn't, you look at playing time and in game stats and to be fair its extremely noticeable. Lets just wait and see if this affects other members of the forum including myself who have 30+ days playing time and are of high ranking because if it does its yet another massive cockup from R* and with Watch Dogs coming out it might just be the final straw. I hope not because I'm a huge fan of R* games and will not be buying Watchdogs but if a large part of the community jumps ship it may just be too much.

My money was reset exactly to the same amount before the billionare (millionare in my case since I was only gifted 16 mil) days. So I expect R* to be pretty accurate in the RP sweep as well. But if a legit player accidently is resetted then it would be hard to get the rank back since R* will just think that's another typicial kid who is mad at the fact that he lost his glitched/modded rank.

I cannot stress enough how important this is because a lot of people seem to think everyone's RP is going to get adjusted like when we had are money reset. This is not the case, only HACKERS and MODDERS will be affected. If they were adjusting everyone's RP there would be far to many additional problems R* would have to deal with and could be a massive issue for them so everyone just chill

It's Rockstar's game, so the glitches are their fault. Also, do you think they have the same group working on new contents as they do bugs? I mean, the exact same group? Isn't more likely they have a group dedicated to bugs? I'm so tired of people bashing glitchers and saying they're the reason content is delayed. The truth is, Rockstar isn't working as fast as we would like. Stop trying to blame others for Rockstar's game.

This suggests that legitimate players could be affected.
