Best four door getaway

Bobux

Recommended Posts

Heists are coming this summer, when we are given the ability to buy secondary apartments and garages, I am planning on getting a sedan or another four door car so I can prepare myself for the Op cops and I need to make sure my friends/crew members are safe.

What I want is a car that doesn't explode upon easy impact(like Franklin's Buffalo) and one where we have protection from different sides so one of my crew members doesn't die while i am in a getaway.

I wouldn't mind about the cost but it should look more elegant and have lots of customization options.

Throw some pics of the car you are going for :)

There isn't really a 4 door that has a lot of protection. I'd go with a sultan, examplar, sandking xl, oracle. Something like that.

I'm a big fan of the Karin Sultan. I've given mine a blue and yellow paint job that, if you've been drinking heavily, looks exactly like a Suburu.

Sandking XL is about the most protective, looks awful and is slow though.

I'd use an examplar, no need for protection when you can get away

Exemplar doesn't fit your criteria perfectly, I think it's still vulnerable from the back and sides, but it's the fastest 4-door with excellent handling. Armor that puppy up and it should be fine. It's expensive though, look into an Oracle for something you can just jack.

Also consider the 4-door version of the Sandking, has the protection you want, climbes over stuff, and has all kinds of ghastly customization options. It's pretty fast-ish modded up, probably good enough. Plus you can just steal that one.

I regret selling the sandking xl for the Alpha now, though it was before the announcement of the High Life Update and Heist...

Sultan tho

I like the look of the sultan but I feel like the my crew would be vulnerable on all sides... especially in a Five Star wanted level.

Sultan RS is a great 4-door - performs well even without upgrades, and looks cool. As for protection, adding the roll cage and a rear spoiler helps obstruct the rear window, making it harder for enemies to shoot you or any passengers.

If you want something similarly stylish, has a ton of different customisation options, handles well, and provided you've got the engine upgrades to boost its speed, the Tailgater is a pretty good alternative.

Either that, or for a reasonable amount of protection, get a closed-variant Merryweather Mesa - it's not the fastest option, but not too shabby, either, and the ground clearance/large wheels gives you the option to take shortcuts where possible. The closed rear cab obstructs the passenger view much better than the open version (it's not totally bulletproof, but it's still very good), and if you've got competition suspension unlocked, lowering the centre of gravity stops it toppling over when making tight turns, without any major detriment to its ability to clear uneven ground (...or NPC cars!).

Still working on getting a Tailgater for my 2nd character (waiting until I've got more garage space), but here's my main's Sultan/Mesa:

Bit harder to get, as of the recent patches, but definitely worth it - particularly because those functioning floodlights on the top look awesome.

I wonder if it's even a good idea to cram 4 people into one getaway car. I tend to drive escort in missions with my Injection (faster than you think it is) so when the NPCs show up to attack the bag man (car) I can ram them or get between the bag man and the bad guys. Thing is, the NPCs seem to attack the closest threat, not the guy who's actually about to beat the mission. IME the more cars the safer the bagman.

The new Lampadati Felon, the perfect vehicle for the discerning criminal

Sandking XL, bulletproof from rear with the right modification (i can't remember right now), decent speed when upgraded, off road monster and generally ignores stuff in front of it. However the exemplar is a good choice with speed and handling, but maybe see if the new huntley is any good (probably not what you're looking for tho)

IMO:

Best 4 Door/Crew Getaway Vehicle

Exemplar - For speed in city or roads

Sultan - For offroad/ northern map

Honorable Mentions:

Felon - Balance of speed and style (not the GT)

Jackal - A good all around getaway car

Franklin's Buffalo is the best 4-door, hands down. Decent speed, neutral handling, outstanding damage resistance.

The Felon is the best of the free cars, IMHO, It has some of the best handling in the entire game, but it also has the the acceleration/top speed of a free car. :/

My prediction: You're gonna have to steal your getaway vehicle

Yeah, or will start with a provided vehicle.

Arrows to Athens

Oracle XS is the fastest 4-door coupe after the Exemplar. Handling is not up to par but if you are a skilled driver then it shouldn't pose much of a problem. This car lacks visual modifications but because this car is a sports sedan like vehicle, boasts a 4.4 liter N63B44T Twin Turbo V8 (540 PS) (767 PS when modified), has a top speed of almost 200 mph and is a luxury car it should be a superb vehicle of choice for getaways. Plus it's only jackable.

Felon GT. Fantastic car.

Isnt the Gt the 2 door?

Oh damn, you're right. I didn't mean the GT. Either way, the four-door Felon is a sweet car.

There's 3 options in my opinion.

1. Exemplar - Best for driving in the city and on normal roads, best 4 door for speed and handling.

2. Sultan - Best fast 4 door for off-road driving by a mile due to excellent AWD ratio.

3. Sandking XL - Good off-road obviously, can ride over anything, buy the painted double roll bar mod and the back window becomes completely bulletproof, however it is slow.

Sandking XL is good if you want a monster.

If you want something a bit more slick, I dig the Ocelot Jackal.

Tailgater is relatively quick and has exceptional handling, if we are to be using our PV's in heists this is going to be my choice to start with at least.

I had a sandking xl, felon and jackal all preped ready to heist. But after seeing the felon could do everything the jackal could do but better I sold the jackal.

Thinking about buying an Exemplar but really for the one second slower the felon is. I'll keep the felon, its a nicer car overall.

This, franklins buffalo, doesn't stand up to the exemplar in any way, it's a poor mans exemplar.

plus franks buffalo is ugly as hell.
