What is your favorite survival?

Recommended Posts

The rambo style survivor players are either way better or way dumber than I am, generally the ones I play with seem to be the latter, they die a lot! Lol. I am always plastered under cover as level 9 begins and I see random people aiming at nothing and somersaulting across the ground, as I'm thinking "really, man?". They typically die 15 seconds into the wave, lol. Good times.

This. Seriously, I LOL everytime when I see someone doing that and they end up dying. Usually my mic is on, and I'm sure they put two and two together when I say "shocking" after they die. What do you expect to happen when there's a heli flying around and you're out in the open, shooting at the enemies on the ground?

Boneyard, for the reasons OP mentioned and also because it's the only survival I can complete by myself. I'm the person camping behind the trailer in that survival, haven't found any other really good hiding spots in the other survivals, so I stick with what I'm good at.

Good topic, I'd also be curious to know where everyone likes to hide, or if they go all rambo style and manage to survive somehow.

Sandy: behind the dumpster at the rear of the barber shop.

Processed: In the dumpster at the back of the far right barn. (The one you spawn nearest)

Back OT my favourite is Maze Bank, maybe cause it's the newest.

The rail yard one took me a while to find a good cover spot, and it's still not foolproof, but I've been camping under the small covered shelter behind a few crates at the end of the large hangar looking structure. Works good until I'm alone and they start coming from all directions.

I like "Processed" best because it's one of the only survivals that allows you to get on a roof and basically feast on kills.

"Sandy" used to be hard for me but then I discovered the roof (above the cubby hole by the wooden fence) and it became simple. That roof is only accessible by jumping up on the AC first but there two spots up there that are great for protection and you have almost a full view of everything.

"Boneyard" is too easy for me now since I feasted on it to level up.

I hate "Industrial" like Hamas hates Israel.

The others, I'm meh on.

Processed FTW.

Yeah I like the Sandy Shores survival, those hillbillies called my Daddy a wussy, its time for some fussin and a feudin

I do love givin' some of those fat hillbillies a mini-gun colonic. Callin' me a "sh*t-dick" and all.

Is this The Guy?

I believe Industrial was made to irritate people, i can tell from the fact that there is nearly no cover, there is high ground but not only does it take forever to get to but it is also easy to fall off of and you will die if you fall lol. There is also only 2 vests and one takes forever to get to.

I have found a few hiding areas though, on the other side of the building near the fence there is a dumpster you can get into. With a container protecting your back it's good for all waves except for chopper ones. For the chopper waves there is an open container near the corner of the fence you can climb other containers to get into. I like to take out the chopper then run back to the dumpster to finish off the rest of the ground troops.

As far as strategy goes, no matter which one I'm doing, I make sure to have cover over my head so the choppers can't hurt me, I take out the ground enemy's first then focus on the chopper(s). It never fails, as soon as I step out of cover to try and take down a chopper, some enemy ass hat with a shotgun walks right up to me and blows my face off. So now, I make sure they're all dead first.

Maze bank. Getting some revenge on those b@#@!@d cops for always swarming.......Priceless.

I'll have to give it a go. Where do you like to hide?

Top of the staircase. Gives you a good view of the area, a clear shot at the choppers, and you can pick the cops off from the distance, or as they come up the stairs. And between waves you jump off, grab some armor, and have time to get back up before the next one starts.

I like to hide on the top of the stairs behind the bushes, you're vulnerable to choppers but if you have a minigun you can try make quick work of them when they arrive.

Processed for me.

Sawmill = The little room

Processed = The dumpster

Boneyard= The trailer

Maze = The pillars in front of the building

Industrial = The open crate

The sandy shores one = The little area where the armor is by has the wooden fence by it

The pier = the bathroom area

Railyard = The train

For me it's:

Sawmill = behind the covered stacks in the open sided lean-to style building to the west side of the map.

Processed = behind the green dumpster that is sitting at an angle in the larger shed.

Boneyard = the trailer or behind the filing cabinet in the shed.

Maze = the glass pillar or the loading bay at street level. Pretty certain it would be a good spot if everyone was there.

Industrial = I've managed to survive below the angled roof above the silos.

Sandy Shores = same as you or in the recess next to the garages, behind the blue dumpster.

The Pier = behind the same white counter in one of the shops (there are 2 to choose from).

Railyard = the flat-bed train carridge.

what's up with the bone yard whenever you make the mistake of quick joining??? Especially since it's not one of the easiest survivals to beat.

Anyhow usually play the survival missions in this order one after the other and always made level 10

1. Railroad

2. Burrito Heights

3. Boneyard

4. Sandy Shores

5. Beach Pier

6. Saw mill

7. Maze bank --finally beat wave 10 recently

Typically gross $80-$100k beating at least 5 survivals in a row after a 1hr or so gaming session. I can't understand why ppl are so obsessed with grinding RR all the time :lol:

The Maze Bank is my favorite as it reminds me of the movie "Heat" which I saw a day before GTA V's release!

Anyways, my second favorite is the Sawmill survival as I feel that one is the hardest, and the most intense

Has anyone tried the little room down on the street (parking entrance I think?) If you're the last player or solo and have patience, it's a great spot.

I'm willing to try it, played solo earlier and couldn't really get comfortable.

To get to it, head down the main staircase (the one with the fountains) and stay on the sidewalk hard right. You'll eventually come to the room. You may get a NPC randomly spawn there but rarely.

bone-yard just because its so easy you don't really have to worry about failing it, how ever i grinded the shat outta bone-yard when online first came out i even remember being able to camp on the roof until they took it out now you just get auto kicked if you stay on it...i just played it so many times that i got sick of it lol.

and then RR came out...
