How is this appealing?

Oh, how I love the sound of people crying 'rice' in the morning

 

All my cars are matching primary/secondary paint, and i love me some high spoilers. Why? Because IRL park bench wings actually have a purpose, and I dig the looks of a ton of them. Unfortunately some of the huge wings in GTA:O are actually ugly, but not all.

 

And I pitty the fool who see's a wing and thinks its 'rice' when they drive the most f*cked up color combo cars, chrome, ugly rims etc.

 

I'd love to see what anyone who cries 'rice' drives in real life

I never understood the appeal towards bright/neon colors and chrome. I hate anything that screams and begs for attention along with dollar sign rims. I do however use carbon fiber bits when i do my black/white cars. I paint matte white and do black rims, tail, hoodscoops, bumpers and roof. That just looks gorgeous but the GT wings are an abomination. Also i can't stand these huge low profile wheel/tire set ups on off road vehicles. A Rebel looks awesome on small rims with huge off road tires not on 22 inch dollar sign rims with low profile custom tires!

I dislike the term ricer and only use it as a laugh, but then again how else do you describe a 1.0 econobox with a fart can exhaust and huge spoiler?

 

It's like I said. I prefer a more low key look.

Maybe this thread has ran it's course...at the end of the day, it's all personal opinion.

.... so therefore, anything with brightly colored paint and unusual body mods are considered cool. I mean, who else would chrome adders, candy colored Entity`s, Feltzers and Festers with pink wheels... appeal to besides kids?

Maybe these guys, representing most of Asia and Latin America!

I guess so. The picture of the c6r equipped with a functional downforce wing means that joe ricer's front wheel drive, 76 horsepower Honda crx will share the same benefits. Cut from real life and paste to video game. End of story. I can't understand the appeal, but it takes all kinds, my friend.

In the case of carbon, some people believe that having carbon parts where possible lowers the weight of the car, making it faster as a result.

Personally, I like carbon parts on certain cars (for one of my characters, I have carbon black as a secondary color on cars when possible).

Well we have customization OPTIONS for a reason. I don't think you should care what others have on their vehicles. If it really bothers you that much, just blow up the car or leave it be.

I personally believe that with the amount of youths that infest this game, they haven't really developed a sense of "taste" when it comes to cars. It becomes more like:

I have tons of glitched money and want to look soo swag, and want a way to display my virtual superiority. So, I'm going to put the most expensive everything on my car, with either bright obnoxious colors or dull and nauseas colors. That way when I drive around and honk my stupid horn and stuff, people will know I can afford the best of everything and they in turn will fear/respect/like/follow/join me.

carbon fiber is nice, for the racing/tuned look but also for an alternative secondary color
