How is this appealing?

After seeing my share of tons of cars customized, I've begun wondering how people find certain things appealing, and I still haven't come up with an official answer.

So, how do people find carbon appealing, for example? Is it just because it makes it look like it's particularly for racing? Just personal preference? To me, carbon never looks suitable for any car, maybe the futo just because of that style, but it still looks ugly.

What about those huge GT wings or the big spoiler on the Feltzer/Jester? How do the people of GTA Online find this appealing?

There are several options for us to do, but sometimes it's odd seeing people add these odd customizations to their cars. Is it just because they can? Personal preference? Attempt to look jdm?

I hate using carbon fibre on any car. Looks tacky IMO.

Same with stupid, big spoilers. No matter what the car, if it's a choice of a park bench or no spoiler at all, I'll go with no spoiler.

Only spoilers I use on selected cars are lip spoliers, discreet ones that don't scream out 'ricer'.

If the feltzer had a racing interior, it would look much better

I put the carbon parts on my Dominator. I like how they give off a different type of two tone look vs its default primary/secondary respray look. Looks cool imo.

And that is precisely why the Feltzer is unpopular.

It should look the way it does AFTER customisation, not before. We should have had a choice, low key or racy. :/

Most people want their cars to look like race cars, even though they are usually pieces of sh*t, and end up looking like pieces of sh*t

I do detest the cover for the headlights on the feltzer. Looks like it's wearing a f*cking mask over it's eyes.

This lol I laugh when people call it rice. I used to think carbon on the bumper and hood of the banshee looked like crap. Then my friend pointed out that painting it white with a red stripe and carbon parts on the roofless one looked like an acr viper.

Carbon on the tailgater if both carbon panels are used with matte black secondary looks good

As for spoilers

I like to imitate cars irl or from games.

I love the gt wing for the coquette ect.

I rice the futo

The gt wing on the nsx jester is appropriate as the nsx is also a race car

Only thing I abhorre when seeing cars is the wrong wheel type on the wrong car.

Anything other than offroad for big trucks like the Sandking and mw mesa

Custom tires on the wrong car. My infernus has muscle rims as the rims of the diablo are in that category. But I do not have custom tires on as a big ugly drag radial on a super would look crappy

Hi! It's me, the Jester. I'm sorry you don't find me appealing, but I am what I was made to be.

The great thing about difference of opinion is that it creates variety. If everybody had the same opinions all the time this would be a very dull world we live in....

I would put the park bench on the sandking if it was an option lol.

Don't think I have an answer to your question but I do spend a lot of time

in Los Santos Customs looking through what you can and can't do with the cars in the

game, I add the parts if I think they look good on that particular car.

If there is a silly one like the riddiculous Shakan exhaust for the Ruiner then it

will go on because gives me a laugh to look at it.

The carbon in game looks okay to me but I always have to make the cars Carbon black

paint because can't stand seeing carbon on a non black car.

You have to remember that some of the kids still collect hotwheels, so therefore, anything with brightly colored paint and unusual body mods are considered cool.

I mean, who else would chrome adders, candy colored Entity`s, Feltzers and Festers with pink wheels and spoilers AND Candy Sandkings with 40 inch wheels (and 2 inch tires) appeal to besides kids? :O

It sucks you can't get the exact same color as the carbon parts. You ever tried it on a white car?

As it is, I just redid my Jester last night to have all the racing bits applied. Its a race car. I only use it as a race car. It might as well look the part.

No tint, no louvers, just racing accoutrements. Why not?

Ya this is a ricer! I think OP and the rest have never seen a race car outside a Fast & Furious movie!

Nah, stick that spoiler on a 1.0 Vauxhall Corsa and then you have a ricer.

Custom tires ruin most of the cars I see.

Ya well one of the most iconic cars of all times disagrees with you

I hate big spoilers and carbon parts unless the car is all black anyway. Certain paint jobs don't appeal to me either. Although everyone has different opinions and life would probably be pretty damn boring if we were all the same.
