A new challenge for all you Snapmatic fans. There's lots to revel in with the photography aspect in GTA, but while we've taken it to certain limits with sunsets, crashed cars, and even nude portraits of the mountain folk, let's see what you can produce as far as abstract photography goes.

Just wanted to say thank you to @boeing757, @MiroAWhite, and @Nacho Z for sharing these recent images!

 

All of them are just great and really show of the spirit of looking at GTAV/O in a completely different way. They're all so completely different, from the rigid structured lines in Boeing's image, which I have no idea what it is, to the swirling masses of beautiful chaos and color in Miro's, to the stunning lights and textures of Nacho's.

 

Really awesome and they inspired me to grab a few, myself. And while mine don't really compare to your entries, it's the fact that I chose to slow down in the game, see things in a way that struck me as interesting, and think of how I wanted to present them here. Gotta love that connection between a video game and the people here, who enjoy it.

Without further ado:

 

With snow falling, the lighting in-game became slightly surreal, making things with lights glow a little richer and stranger than normal.

 

I especially liked the way the snowscapes made the police lights really brilliant against the landscape. So much so, I never really looked at them this closely before.

 

And while this image is not Abstract, technically, I found the shape and structure really interesting in how simple it is, yet the blue glow is so alluring.

 

Anyhow, thank you again for getting me to look deeper into the game. Cheers!

As you drive from the LSC in the center of town, heading toward the beach, there's a small church area just after the Epsilon building.

I got my Bati up on it's roof the other night and was taking cover against another player, when I noticed the stained glass windows.

I was actually up there during the in-game transition from day to night, and here's what the windows looked like during daylight hours:

 

But, in a very subtle, beautiful transition into evening, the windows became illuminated, looking like this:

 

It really was very, very cool to see. Both unexpected and enough to make me take pause and grab a photo.

Of course, I got killed while taking a picture, so that was kinda dumb of me. But hey, it's ART! lol!!

Spent some alone time in a lobby last night and took a bunch of photos for this thread.

However, several didn't seem to capture, which I don't know why. I was able to get these two, which aren't my favorites, but thought I'd share anyway. Cheers!

For the abstract Snapmatic photo lovers, the new Smuggler's DLC offers all kinds of new photo opportunities, from Fort Zancudo and the hangars, to the personal living quarters and office, to all the new aircraft.

I plan on taking more of photos soon, but for now, I'll drop this one in. Love the textures and shapes going on. Cheers!
